Bradley looked good early on trying to take the fight to Manny but was eating leather in doing so. He switched to trying to pull off a Marquez because he knew he wouldn't be able to follow the initial strategy without getting knocked out. Bigger guys than Bradley tried to bully Pacquiao and found out it doesn't work so well.
I had it 116-112 Pacquaio but I could see 115-113. Pac was the clear winner, but Bradley hung in there pretty well and it was anyones fight after eight. Now that he lost and we are allowed to give him some credit again, I was wondering what is it that makes Bradley so successful, even though he is not very fast, doesn't punch hard and his technique is nothing spectacular. Yes he is in shape and he has heart but that alone won't help much. Watching him catch Pac several times with both looping and straight shots made me think that he is able to hide his punches exceptionally well. Even though he doesn't punch that quick, his shots are very difficult to see or he makes you wait for something else and surprises you. Of course, had it been the prime Pac it wouldn't have been close at all, but Bradley to me is one of those guys who fights better than he seems to
Bradley is clumsy as fuck sometimes. In fact, last night he looked very clumsy. What's with him and being off balance so much? And why did he change his gameplan after a good start? He boxed well early on. I think he wanted to win so bad it affected his performance.
I thought she wanted very much to bed Bradley based on all the hugs and shit she keep giving the guy.
agREED... It was a "Fight of the Year" Candidate for the 1st Half, Then a Sense of CAUTION Coupled w/FATIGUE Set in on Bradley...REED Wouldn't Say he Bitched Up, but @ the Same Time, Bradley KNEW his Fate, if he Continued ENGAGING Pacquiao... REED:mj:
Bradley's a Jack of ALL Trades, Master of NONE... There's MANY Fighters w/Better Handspeed, yet Bradley ISN'T Slow...There's MOre MOBILE Fighters, yet Bradley has a Good Set of Wheels...He's NOT a Blood & Guts Warrior yet he's NOT Afraid to Dig Down Plant his Feet & TRADE...He'll NEVER Be Mistaken for a Slick Boxer, yet he's Capable of Utilizing SMARTS & SCIENCE, Even Against Master Craftsmen like Marquez... He's Obviously NOT a Puncher, yet You Have to RESPECT his Ability to Hurt You... Bradley Has just Enough TECHNICAL Ability, WARRIOR's Spirit, Intangibles & All Around Boxing Wherewithal to Be a Successful, World Class Fighter...NATHAN about him Jumps Out @ You, yet his CONSISTENCY & RESULTS Speak for Themselves... They Fight NATHAN Alike, but Bradley is Similar to Carl Froch in that Regard, in REED's Opinion... REED:mj:
When You Behave like a FAIRWEATHER Homosexual, Brace Yourself to Be Called a "Fag", Fag... REED:boohoo:
If it was a video game and you were making stats on Bradley from 1-10 in all the different areas like speed, power, reflexes etc. he wouldn't be great in any of them, but not poor in any either. He's like a 6 or 7 across the board. If anything rises about that it's his conditioning.
...Or Hamed or Trinidad or Broner... 1nce Brother Mex Gets a Fighter in his CROSSHAIRS of HATE, There's No Turning Back... REED:dance2:
LMAO @ HBO pushing for a 3rd fight because they've run out of guys to watch Pac against. Bradley has beaten Bradley by a clear margin TWICE, who the Hell wants to see a third fight? At this point, if Pac-May won't happen, Manny might as well retire, and go out on top.
All the guys with great heart are old. I dont see the young generation fighters with the kind of heart these guys displayed tonight. Not enough to keep boxing exciting for the next few years. And dont get me started on the HW division.
That's Because Most of the Younger Fighters HAVEN'T Been Put in a Position to DISPLAY Heart, as of Yet... Canelo's Gonna have an EPIC Slugfest that ALL Great Mexican Fighters Eventually Have, @ Some Point...Ditto for Mikey Garcia...Keith Thurman Displayed TONS of Heart as an Amateur Fighter...Ditto for Errol Spence, Jr...None of them have Had to Dig Deeeeeeeeeeeep As of Yet, but it's Coming... Adrien Broner Showed SOME Heart in the Maidana Loss, in REED's Opinion...& if Deontay Wlider CONTINUES to Knock People Out, that'll Bring SOME Interest Back to the Heavyweights... REED:mj:
Canelo was asked to dig deep vs. Mayweather and he failed. Broner may have heart but he isnt very good so it means nothing. Mikey Garcia was asked to dig deep vs. salido and looked happy taking the easy way out. Im excited about Thurman, but it's just not enough. Boxing needs more.
Floyd Mayweather is THE Best Fighter of his Era...There's No Shame WHATSOEVER in "Failing" Against Floyd...Canelo's Still a BABY in the Game & will NEVER EVER Be as OUTMATCHED as he was vs. Floyd... You Certainly CAN'T Label Canelo "Heartless" Based on the Floyd Fight...He Flirted w/DISASTER Against Cotto's Brother, Years Ago, but Overcame it...That Takes HEART... Garcia was Handling Salido as EASY as Anyone Has, for Stretches of that Fight...There's NO Evidence Garcia is DEVOID of Heart Either... GGG's Entering the Big Fight Mix, Kovalev's willing to Fight ANYBODY, Terrance Crawford just went ABROAD & Won... Boxing's FINE, Dude...It Always REPLENISHES Itself... ALWAYS... REED:mj:
Seriously. HBO's attempt to sell a third Pac/Brad fight is desperate. Obviously, this was the plan all along, and we now know the reason for the horrible decision in the first fight.
