That's what I meant by rarer. Rarer in the premiership and a rarer asset to the top sides. Now you sign the best striker in the budeslega who bangs in 30 goals for you and it's totally unremarkable. You walz to a European final but nobody cares and your clubs in crisis because you finished 5th in the premiership 100 miles from title contention

Cycled 25km last night in very humid weather. Plenty of big hills. Came in had a shave and shower and was eneergized, couldn't sleep. Finally slept, woken at 6 Am by dummy house mate who wanted to use shower. Her shower not working cos fuckface painters turned the water off to paint around toilet and didn;'t turn it back on. Plumber and Thames Water out to the house all day yesterday. Street dug up. Shit everywhere. House in constant confusion because of painting, boxes everywhere, my bike not allowed in the house it scratches the wall.. Two houses on this street having loft extensions done by overrated foreign crews armed with prehistoric flint tools. Incapable of lifting a sheet of ply to the roof without screaming at each other. Plumber at the house all morning today. Got very little study done, did my cycling and now I am sore tired and very cranky and nervy. You probably won't see me till Sunday.

I'm excited for the match ... two clubs, one with one of the greatest histories and the other with less but still a genuine club ... not a UAE Slave Lord in sight ... they still haven't bought the greatest club trophy of them all ... to be cherished while we have the chance

Speaking of the scouse nation however - the Irish music festival I was going to at the pier head was cancelled yesterday! I'd bought 5 people's non-refundable fucking return train tickets and their air bnb accommodation - many hundreds of quid in the hole now due to the scouse nation's poor organizational skills

Scousers only speak the way they do because of Irish people, anyway

Wherever the Irish race have travelled, they've imprinted the inherent "jacksonness" of their brand and left it improved ... except Boston

Toon seems otherwise deid too....checked ents24 to see what's what. 7 events that weekend, none good. 7 I thought, seems awfully low and indeed it was because Manchester and Glasgow each had north of 40, Edinburgh, Leeds and even shite brum each north of 15. Get oot your house, ar Scouser. Poor show.

Not done reading the article so far this stands out.

In 2016, Buschmann asked Pinto where his information came from, and he replied, “Some of our sources do not realize that they are our sources.”

Clear corruption. On some level they know it's illegal, but are so entrenched they find it easy to rationalize.

This bit stood out to me:

"Seriously, where's my fucking money?" said Dunga.

He was a good little player, albeit frustratingly inconsistent.

Reminds me of a few years ago where there was an exchange on here like this

Jimmy: "rumors of Ronaldinho to QPR??"

Whiskey: "what, on a debt collecting mission?"

Liverpool have been the better side in the first half, but not by a whole lot. There's always nerves in a final but both teams look more rusty than tentative.

    Liverpool has this

Spurs final third play is pathetic... Deli Counter is shit and unimaginative... Kane not fit

If Liverpool get another, forget it. I think they're going to put their foot back on the gas in the second half

Neither goalkeeper has had to do anything spectacular but they've both been solid.

Of course now that I've posted it there could be a blunder.
