Van Dijk was having a great game until the penalty. Thankfully Mahrez missed it.

City were trying to win by stink, nearly pulled it off. Suppose that's the sign of champions. Was horrible to watch though.

    You are learning.

City basically tried to punch with a puncher last Season and got tooken out.

They relied on the 5-0 walloping of Liverpool at Etihad as a barometer but it was a false reading as Liverpool played with 10 and hadn't got the defensive acumen they do now.

City then got beat 3 times in a row since, conceding 9 and scoring 4.

So today they came to stink it and see what happened.

And they nearly did it too. But their £309494m striker missed a penalty.

I thought there were times today where Liverpool had Man City out of position but they kept passing backwards and allowed City to regroup. Also there were times when there was a runner free, overlapping on one of the wings and they wouldn't see him, passing into crowded areas of the pitch instead. Firminho was quiet, Mane was tightly marked as McDogg says but his first touch and decision-making were both poor today. I don't think Salah played that badly, he was at least trying to make things happen, it just doesn't seem to be coming off for him at the moment, the radar isn't quite there right now. Purely a confidence thing. You have to keep playing him, it's going to click into place at some point it, it has to, the main thing is he's getting into the right areas and still creating the chances.

agSLICED. I think it's OK to sub him now and again if he's really poor or on a card he but needs to play to get back into top form. He's not going to improve watching from the bench and as far as we know last season's injury is not hampering him.

Just spent the first two hours of my day with my shirt tucked conspicuously into my pink flamingo boxer shorts. Nobody said a thing.

My best mate came back from a home lunch break during secondary school in an unironed Tshirt covered in yesterday's splooge. He denies it to this day but an audience of teenage boys is the ultimate wisdom of crowds in this case, we all knew

I know. In his partial defence, he came from a troubled home & was doing -/failing to do- his own laundry from a really young age so i guess he lived with an increased risk of mishaps like that. Otoh, boy did he enjoy making life difficult for himself generally. Used to have a crazy heavy metal undercut, wear skeleton gloves, occasionally even a frilly 17th century style shirt(!) when he was feeling festive. The thing being he was originally from the schemes and could fight like all fuck so part of the eccentricity was a dare: aye, I'm a teenage boy walking about glesga in a vampire shirt covered in dried splooge; I'm currently canvassing opinion on it, who'd like to be interviewed? :D A lot of fights.

I remember a bunch of guys reducing a girl to tears of laughter by mock-interrogating her about where her younger brother kept his "Spunk-Sock".

As Hut says...........we know, we know.

    LOL.

I don't think Terry is a Racist, I just think he's an uneducated and not particularly nice guy with way too much money, way too much hero-worship and way too little intelligence.

Furthermore, Chelsea for all it's money, both the place and the Club, isn't exactly Cultural-Central.

He lives in fucking Esher, another monocultural wasteland, it just happens to be White too.

So the thick fuck was never going to learn any bit of respect or manners, what with coming from a family of former East-End fences and pickpockets.

If Anton Ferdinand was Irish, God forbid, Terry would have called him something else.

    He's just like that.

My father, who knows nothing about football but lots about cunts, saw Chelsea playing Liverpool back in 2006 when Terry was barely newsworthy and he saw Terry go in on Pepe Reina from a corner, and he simply remarked "Who is that slanty eyed thug???".

    Take a bow, cunt.

What's even more remarkable about Terry is that his brother did the same thing he did with the even more disastrous outcome of his teammate committing suicide

Terry's whole family is one big meandering bunch of neanderthal delinquents.

His mum and sister got busted for shoplifting.

Let's just put that in perspective........the mum and sister of a guy on £100,000 a week got busted..........for shoplifting.

He had an affair with a team mates wife. He could have gotten his end away with a £10,000 a night hooker, but no, he had to go one better.

    They simply cannot help themselves.

John and Paul Terry are both nasty pieces of work, with the elder Terry being more than partially responsible for a team-mate's suicide. They are, like you say, more a reflection of their upbringing than anything else. Both parents are complete and utter scumbags.

"Hi my Son could afford to take me shopping in Harrods for fun but instead we can't help lifting some clobber out of Marks and Sparks and Tescos.......cos we are cunts, you see".

By the way, Tescos is like fucking........JC Penneys and Marks and Spencers is like Krogers or worse.

They aren't the upper-echelon of places to steal from.

"Pet food, flip flops and casual clothing were said to be among the items allegedly shoplifted by England football captain John Terry's mother and mother-in-law, it emerged today.

Sue Terry, 50, and Sue Poole, 54, were arrested and cautioned after being caught with £800 of clothes and groceries from Tesco and Marks & Spencer.

Among the items were said to be girls' flip flops, leggings, casual shirts, men's and ladies' watches, a green track suit and groceries including sweets and pet food. "
