It's still a point picked up after Hearts lost and a game in midweek too.

Liverpool ground out a win over Fulham....what they call a "Professional Performance"

Don't know what bame means and naebodys ever brought those subjects up on any of my many visits

Did meet a tosspot in the smoking area on Tuesday who kept telling us how much working class mancunians are respected wherever in the world he goes.

    'Where you from?'
    'Glasgow'
'Oh I lived there for a bit when I was young'
    'Aye?'
'Yee in the gorbals back when it was slab blocks. They told me it was tough but I just thought it was a joke you know because I'm a working class Mancunian and they didn't want any of that'
    'Hmm mmm. Did ye, aye?'

No matter where you go, no matter WHERE..........some fuck will try it on with some story.

I was politely accosted in the door of a bourgeois establishment on the Queens Road Peckham by a black guy with dreads from of all places Liverpool.

He told me 1983 was the year flying Aliens came to Liverpool.

    I like electric bikes.

Go to 11:10 for the action.

My own bike at present is just a cruiser which I use to cruise basically. Can rip 4 miles down to Fulham via Putney Bridge in about 15 minutes.

I hope the "darby" ends in a draw with each side getting 4 red cards.

Screw all that...QPR beat Brentford for the first time in six games. Started the season off horribly with four straight league defeats (that included a 7-1 hammering at West Brom!). After that it looked like McClaren was on very thin ice, but we've now only lost three times in 13 games. Fair play to the wolly with the brolly.

Sounds like fun chat, quite enjoy the occasional nutter, me. I struck up a convo recently with a woman of mixed/Caribbean origin who turned out to be into using painting to channel ancestral spirits, reading people's auras and similar stuff. Much better than weather, politics, music, football so I invited her with us to the next pub. Then possibly the next. Eventually my missus became concerned that we were dragging a vulnerable person away from her home turf/comfort zone which I felt a bit guilty about for a couple days after until YouTube reccomended me vid of a pro trump rally in George square that w/e- she was front and centre screaming dementedly at anti-trump protestors about free speech. Vulnerable my ass. As far as pub chat goes a mental afro pro trump new age hippy is the motherload.

Aye, didn't see yesterday coming after the last 5 or so performances, really turgid stuff. Still, back on top and with what looks like the easiest run up to xmas of the top 3:

It's been a strange season in the league so far... Rangers have looked completely shit at times and then at other times like a side dropped in from La Liga, bizarre ... we've been convincing against good clubs and then shite against also-rans ... Aberdeen, who I thought would push us more than Rangers have been middling

And until the last couple of games hibs and killie had the highest points totals of the calander year! Now hibs are 8th! Weird indeed and a measure of how strong the league is this year, there're 8 genuinely well managed and well organised teams duking it out. I'm almost sorry hearts had those injuries and fell away, it's been more fun having a challenge. I don't expect we'll still have a serious one come February, march tho

I've been plenty surprised by rangers already so they might continue to do so. But 1) your squad depth is pretty shallow compared to us and youve alreasy played 27 games 2) celtic were seriously underperforming for months due to internal drama that seems to have subsided (tho not resolved) - we'll pick up more points in our next 12 games, be sure of that 3) I saw nothing in the first old firm game to suggest you can beat us head to head and thats always crucial

But we'll see! If rangers can keep it this close the next game at ibrox will be biblical

I reckon celtic will end up about 8-12 points ahead of rangers with hearts about 5 further behind. The final old firm won't be a nail biting title decider, put it like that. They'll have to draft polis in from Edinburgh but not London

I reckon Rangers will finish somewhere between 8th and 9th, about 30 points behind Celtic

Their best players will be sold to a bigger, older club with more history ... like MK Dons
