    I saw this movie and enjoyed it, but it's just another Marvel movie. I thought it would be more. I thought it would be deeper. But in the end, it's the same formula. The movie is enjoyable as i am watching it, but forgettable the minute i leave.

    Superhero films are seldom "deep". By the way I thought The Incredible Hulk was a deep dark film. That's the most re-watchable MCU film to date for me.

    Hulk was much deeper than incredible hulk. But BVS and MOS was much deeper than anything Marvel put out.

    Man of Steel was shit. Half of the film was just Kryptonians flying through or getting punched through buildings and gas stations. You're not consistent in your position on "depth" if you give MOS a pass. Pure mindless destruction. Too many things were wrong with the story for me to get into at the moment.

    Seems to me that you have a DC agenda. Which is fine. I grew up on DC comics and knew very little about Marvel before the MCU so I can understand someone preferring films with DC characters. But with you just admit it and stop pretending it's because the films are "deeper".

    Fact is that the Marvel films are significantly better than the DC films outside of the Nolan Batman trilogy.

    Weather you think MOS is shit is meaningless to the discussion. There is a deep movie there. There is a struggle with a Zod, who while is a villain really is just trying to save and protect his people. And then you have Superman who is trying to save and protect his new people because that is all he knows.

    I actually have no DC agenda. The marvel films are better, but they are better more because of movie studios involved than anything else. But they are better, and forgettable. MOS and BVS stick stick with you and actually have a much deeper meaning.

    Also, Marvel is sticking to the comics and DC is more trying to think outside the comic book lines.

    Man Of Steel I really liked....up until the point where Trin & Tob pointed out above: Superman x General Zod doing a 'Godzilla x Tokyo' on Metropolis....a war of atrition until Superman just 'went up to 11' (Spinal Tap, like) and snapped Zod's neck.

    BTW I dont know about the rest of yiu but we watched Doctor Strange in 3D IMAX and those trippy visual-effects were amazing.

    Probably could have done it sooner, but didnt have the guts. plus it's like a MMA fight. It was hard to get Zod in a good position, but he finally did.
