I think there's a big chance Khan's range and speed would shut Broner down, and have him plodding around landing the odd potshot - a bit like the first few rounds of the Paulie fight.

Based on what? He just won a split decision over Malignaggi. A guy who got dominated and stopped by Khan 3 years ago.

He didn't exactly look like a monster puncher last night either. Landed plenty of nice counter rights that Paulie didn't see coming, and Paulie took them fine. Khan vs Broner is a pick em fight.

 

Khan can have all the range and speed he wants, Broner will land. Khan is a retard in the ring with a crap defense. And Khan's chin isn't on par with Paulie's. If there's one thing Paulie has it's a solid chin.

 

Yeah I also saw him handle Malignaggi far easier than Diet Floyd.

Broner isn't a pressure fighter, I honestly think he'd let the rounds pass as he does his Mayweather impressions and would be too arrogant and stubborn to walk Khan down.

 

Even fighting the way he did last night he beats Khan.

Khan recovers and fights back, and Broner doesn't have the power to knock Khan out cold with 1 shot.

I think he does, and if not he can hurt him badly enough where a follow up stoppage would be a formality.

 

Judging from his first fight against a 140 pounder, he doesn't hit as hard as Maidana, who hurt Khan plenty - but didn't come close to actually putting his lights out with 1 shot.

Broner seems like a front runner too, with some bitch in him. How hard will he actually try and walk Khan down and land big shots, when Khan is handspeeding the shit out of him, and landing one mindless flurry after another?

Of course there is a skill difference, but Maidana tagged Khan clean plenty of times and didn't KO him. Broner doesn't hit as hard as Maidana, and skill difference or not, I don't think he has the balls to land as many big shots as Maidana did.

We're talking about someone who lost to Ponce De Leon, and struggled against Paulie, without putting a dent in him.
