How's the confidence from Madrimov? The kid fancies himself for the upset. I love all these new tough guys who are generally pretty respectful and just wanna fight the best - Ortiz Jr, Tszyu, Madrimov, and yeah Bud too. More of this will make boxing bigger and better.
Ortiz TALKS about fighting the best. His opposition has been horrid. I'm rooting for the fight to come off without a problem. It's undoubtedly gonna be a war.
wilder winning seems far fetched but i guess if its an early ko he could fight 2 monthes lata. His excellency is an ambitious muthafucka
As mobile, awkward and heavy handed as Madrimov is, Crawford should cut this fella down fairly easily.
Actually, I forgot about Davis vs Martin in June. I'll be ordering that on PPV. Martin is a decent fighter.
His Excellency Turki Alalshikh: “Boxing is broken, but I don't think we need to get everything back together. We need to improve it with something else. We have a strategic vision… When I started in this field [the promoters] competed against each other, but now we managed to get them all to work together… The market's changed. Why's it changed? Because we have a goal. We are committed to the long-term success of this industry. We will collaborate with all stakeholders to advance boxing." [@ESPN]
I just saw something about his excellency puting together a Mexico vs U.S.A card in September. Canelo vs Crawford Munguia vs Plant Cruz vs Stevenson That would be so badass if its true.
The casual fans won't be happy when Shakur makes Pitbull look like the limited second rate fighter that he is.
He'd probably win. In a classic brawler vs. boxer matchup, the boxer usually comes out on top, but he’d still put up a much better fight than the stiffs Shakur has been feasting on.
Madrimov is good but not someone that could really give Bud much problems but we’ll see if the fight ends up being more competitive than the Spence fight.
I feel that Crawford is starting to get a bit overrated. Mean machine and (especially) Porter were giving him hard fights before getting stopped late. I dont see Madrimov has being a lesser fighter than them
His flawless performance against Spence may be overrating Crawford a bit but still a good reason to favor him over Madrimov. I won’t be surprised if this fight ends up being tougher than expected for Crawford.
apparently there are open workouts wednesday at the Santa Monica Pier and afterward his excellency will put on 3 free fights featuring Marc Castro, Giyasov and some other guys
