A knee to the ribs broke one on his left side...or at least he favoured that side when he said to his corner "It's broke" when the ref separated him and Shogun. Of course I watched it. I have it in Korean, English mpeg, and xvid...what would you like to know?

True. I watched the fight as well, and i did see when he gestured to his corner. But has it been verified that this happened during this fight, or was it re-injured maybe from training?

Your previous post made it sound like he was manhandled from pillar to post (which he was) without any complications or wildcards. I think his injury should have at least been mentioned. Thats all I'm saying, bro.

Yeah he was using it during his fight with sakuraba. That is when Saku dressed up as Mario in his interviews.

I didn't mean to imply that there were no complications, but I have a feeling that the complications were a result of Shogun's onslaught. It wasn't shown at all in Canada on Viewerschoice or Rogers Cable on Saturday, so I succumbed to pressure and got the Korean feed even though I couldn't understand the commentary.

I thought, "The punches don't need to be translated!"

That explains my confusion over the screaming baboon comparison with Kevin Randleman. I hadn't seen the English version yet!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>Buddy, his nickname is 'Donkey Kong' and he loves it. You need to be aware of these kinds of things, before crying about them.

PS: Why is it a shocker that Overeem not only beat Belfort, but nearly KOed him standing? Alistair is MUCH better than Belfort is, standing. They're not even close, IMO. If Belfort even held his own, THATS whats suprising.

1 his nickname is the monster
2 Vitor is such a better boxer then Alistair its not even funny ( I sparred with Alistair so I know ), Vitor is just shot, totally shot... but in his heyday when he was still the phenom, he was one of the best boxers the mma has ever seen

I hate seeing Sakuraba get hurt. The dude is extremely intelligent in the ring. His presence of mind is astounding!
