Benavidez looks a little drained but I still expect to hear the shit out of Plant.

Plant is one of those guys that gets the dog shit beat out of him and still talks shit. I'm Mexican but I gotta go with Plant. I think he can out box Benevidez. I'm sick of his disrespectful dad. I know Plant is the under dog. But hoping for a miracle that he will win and shut that coke head up.

A Plant win would be an upset, but hardly a miracle. We ain't talking Tyson-Douglas here.

Plant is Benavidez's first big test. It's not unprecedented to see guys fail their first big test.

It's not what I envision though. I think Bena is gonna beat the shit outta Plant.

Wonder how many PPV buys this will do. The general feeling I have is that its getting more mainstream attention than I thought it would. I always just by the people I'm acquainted to, and i know a few who are buying this tonight. Maybe like 250k buys.

plant will show up in his finest track shoes, as they are allowing him a leonard-hagler circus ring.

    125K? :duck:

REED Expects Benavidez-Plant to DOUBLE That, at Worst…More Like 300K in REED’s Opinion…

Hype Shows Like “Showtime - All Access” Contributes, as Does the Fact Benavidez was On “First Take” w/Stephen A. Smith Earlier This Week and Plant Did a Sit Down, @ Length Interview w/the Fastest Growing Channel on YouTube, the Pivot…

Benavidez’s Big Bro was Recently Featured in “Creed 3”, Which Just Premiered Earlier This Month…Free Publicity for Lil’ Bro…

This Fight Has Gotten LEGIT Mainstream Attention and the Benavidez NAME Has Been Highlighted the Entire Month of March…

    250K Minimum, Probably 300K…

    Hope you're right

Edit: actually, i hope you're wrong. All these barely decent fights that ends up on ppv should fail miserably. Might not be good for the sport in the short term, but in the long term it would end up being beneficial

Yes, I am actually with REED here. Neil always sells PPVs short. He said he only expects like 250k for Tank-Garcia, which is comical. Tank-Garcia is EASILY gonna be above 250k.

I think Bena-Plant is gonna do between 200-300k.

Won't be good for boxing in the U.S. if they fail.

Showtime is under a microscope from Paramount (its parent company) right now. If Bena-Plant and Tank-Garcia bomb, they'll probably scrap Showtime boxing all together.

i said davis garcia wont break 500k.

the pay per view model is antiquated and no longer viable.

True, well that prediction is more realistic. I'm predicting 600k for Davis-Garcia. I think you'll be surprised.

    I order this...
    1. These two really hate each other,
    2. Benavidez will come out looking to really hurt Plant & might be in for a surprise
    3. I'm thirsty for a good fight...first one of the year and I don't trust the other fight to ever really happen(Garcia vs Tank, Fury vs Usyk, Wilder vs. Ruiz, Teo vs Taylor, etc)..

What happened to the days when commissions used to outlaw long beards? They still should. All beards should be trimmed down (not off, but down) coming into the ring.

Benavidez looking calm and confident entering the arena. Plant looking pretty nervous IMO. His girlfriend looks nervous too.

Cody Crowley is a hard working guy, but he sucks.

Boots would smoke him inside of 3.

Wtf!! On the undercard, Crowley got dropped by Ramos, then they did a video review and took it back.. but in the review his glove clearly touched down! Seriously…

I can just picture Merchant in his prime interviewing Crowley.

"Alright Cody, your old man offed himself... sad, but what was your BOXING strategy coming into tonight?"
