I didn't read the Camacho news in that link since I was too busy checking out the photos of bootylicious Maripily.:hump:
Shot in the face...damn....makes you appreciate our poster Kneel that much more.....Kneel gets shot in the face every night in the bedroom and is always here the next day posting like nothing happened..
What about running? It's his running that pissed us all off. Tall Paul vs Camacho. Arum, do your thing.
Damn, that's too bad. I know Camacho's a pretty wild character and much of what has happened to him has been through his own doing one way or another, but as a boxer he was extremely fast, slick, and talented, a three-division champ who was unknockoutable and didn't quit in the ring. Getting shot in the face and neck with a prognosis of either paralysis or brain damage, that's harsh. I feel bad for anybody facing that kind of future.
They officially declared him brain dead. Now the discussion is whether they're gonna take him off life support and donate his organs.
Ernesto Torres, Medical Director of the Rio Piedras Medical Center pronounced today Hector Camacho as brain dead. The forensic report will record the time of death as 10:00 AM of Thursday November 22, 2012. Camacho lost his most important battle. Will always be remembered as one of the greats.
Given his Fame & Lifestyle, REED Thinks it's Pretty Safe to ASSume "Macho" Camacho WOULDN'T have Wanted to Be Kept Alive by a Machine...As TOUGH as that May or May Not Be for his Loved 1's to Accept, that's the Natural ORDER of Things, in REED's Opinion... It'd Be COOL as Hell if Camacho's Organs Could ONLY Be Donated to HARDCORE Boxing Fans, in Need.... REED:hut:
Sad news. Never really cared for his post-Rosario style but always respected his durability and skill. I met him in the lobby of the MGM on the Friday before his fight with Trinidad when he literally bumped into my wife. He apologized and spent a few minutes chatting with us. In person, the dude came off as humble and polite. I can't imagine what his family is facing today in terms of having to decide to take him of life support. RIP...
Oh GTFOH! It's sad that he died, but don't start telling tall tales just because he's now dead. He was NOT a great fighter. He COULD have been, but he wasn't. He was a great TALENT however, and if he was in his prime right now I'd pick him over anyone from 130-135 pretty easily, even Broner.
God Bless him in any case. Choof has to be that I ain't never seen a Pakistanian doctor that could save a guys life in any case.
Actually, forget 130-135, prime Camacho beats anyone from 130-140 on the current scene. Now way in Hell I see Danny Garcia, Rios, and trash-Khan beating a young Camacho.

Does that include Hatton? I agree with the rest. He's from what now seems like not just a different era, but a different age.
