    Canelo has more talent than Chumpez Jr could ever dream to have. But head to head, Canelo would lose. Simply because Chumpez Jr is damn near 3 divisions bigger.

    Canelo is a TRUE junior middleweight. He's too big for 147, and he'd be too small for 160.

    Chumpez Jr is at least a supermiddle, who hides at 160 to fight smaller guys.

    Beating up WHO'Sesito Lopez is a GREAT indication for how Canelo would fare against Martinez................................

    Let him fight a prime, breathing opponent first.

    Josesito Lopez isn't good enough to spar with Martinez.

    Yeah, but because Cotto is hittable, and doesn't have the best chin, Canelo would be a pretty live dog.

    Canelo has very little chance against Martinez. Serg is already fading, but Canelo better wait until he's completely shot.

    I think that even with the size and height advantage of Chavez Jr over him, Canela can score a knock out. Martinez will school him though.

    To be fair to the Ginger, he is a small 154 pounder, he looked the same size as Mosley. He would be TINY at middleweight. Even Martinez and Golovkin would have significant size advantages.

    Too much risk for lttle reward since Golovkin is not that well known. If Canelo just wants a no risk 160 lbs belt, there is Daniel Geale around for an easy title match.

    Why would Canelo fight Golovkin, isn't he a MW? Canelo is small, he'd be a pretty tiny MW.

    Cotto vs Canelo is the fight to be made. I think Canelo stops Cotto.
