HBO, just for openers, are full of shit.

This is what happens with narratives and it's why I hate the press and the commentators, they feel it's their business to decide what is happening instead of REPORTING ion what is happening.

The fact that Alvarez felt the need to come forward was proof-positive that his people felt he had blown the first fight by being on the back foot.

The fact that the press latched onto this means they know it too.

The fact that Alvarez decided to come forward, however, still did not mean he had addressed the problem.

"Oh, he's coming forward now, he's made the adjustments, he's winning".

Bullshit. He was STILL being out landed.

Let's put some of our own spin on it...........a mid-twenties, absolutely prime-of-his-life guy couldn't come close to bossing a 36 year old guy that is regarded as having slipped some in the past 2 years.

Whatever happened to "BEAT THE CHAMPION".

If we employ all the usual spin, it more than counteracts the BS coming in the opposite direction.

But she did her job, I suppose.

As did the clown who tried to give the Mayweather fight to Alvarez..

..........I wouldn't be surprised if this all came out in a few years.

    It stinks.

You seem way too occupied on these fights like they both count as one.

Nobody is suggesting the 2nd fight was a robbery.
I´ve not heard or read about this anywhere apart from ´experts´ on Boxing Forums with ´preordained objectivity´ issues...

Only one scorecard, through both fights, had GGG winning. And, GGG outlanded Alvarez in 20 of their 24 rounds.

    Who?
You mean the biased, Clembutero Alvarez cheating,/Golden Cunt Productions hating subjective-can't-score-a-fight brigade who wanted to see justice and GGG score a knockout?
When that didn't happen, there was no Plan B (like Golovkin's style) so it had to be Golovkin on points....because..."justice!".

    Right?

Canelo was on the Brink of DOMINATING Him in the 1st Half of the Fight and it's Not as if GGG Ran the Table in the Latter Half...

His Own Trainer Had him LOSING After the 7th Bruh...

    No I didnt.
I had Golovkin starting slow (except opposite of what he promised everyone...because Canelo changed his gameplan and was the aggressor) - Golovkin just jabbed his way through the first rounds, Canelo worked real close which further emphasized his ´owning´ the fight (loads of jabs vs loads of bodyshots...what do you prefer?) and from Rd7-10 GGG was retreating and on the back foot - whenever have you seen that?
Rd10 was Golvkin´s and Rd 12 was the do-or-die round which I had even and as a result, Canelo winning 5rds to 4, with 3 even: 116-115.

    Now, one time....with feeling...

This is not true by any stretch ... I don't even think either fighter managed a single dominating ROUND in the fight!

Translation: GGG fought differently than I expected which I interpreted as weakness/fear and also I like to give guys huge credit for eating jabs while throwing single body shots here and there at their opponent's elbows or dramatically missing with a two-haymaker combo which GGG easily avoids (which I'm holding against him... he should take the shots to prove his aggressiveness)

    Canelo cut Golovkin.
Look at Golvkin´s face: it resembled yo Mom´s after a Friday night skinfull of beer and fight in the local club.

REED, you're talking about Canelo supposedly being on the verge of domination while also saying a draw would've been ok by you

I just had someone on IG tell me that Canelo “outclassed” Golovkin and beat him 8-4.

Most of the people I know think Golovkin won and those who thought Canelo won all feel it was a razor thin fight.

Yes, Because REED Accepts that FACT Triple G Finished Stronger, Which Typically Has More of a LASTING Effect on Judges...

But In the 1st Half, Triple G Looked Confused, His Face was Very Much Reddened from Jabs, Cheek Bones Swollen, He was Doubling Over at the Waist to Brace for Incoming Bodyshots AND He was Constantly in Retreat...

When a Guy Like Triple G is MADE to Fight Unlike Himself, That Should Be Rewarded on the Scorecards...Compared to How he Normally Fights, You Could Dare Say Triple G was PASSIVE...

REED Keeps Harping on What Abel Said After the 7th Because of Abel's TONE...It Wasn't Some Faux Motivational Shit, It was Some Angelo Dundee, "You're BLOWING It Kid, You're BLOWING It" Type of Shit...Abel KNEW his Guy was LOSING @ That Point...
