Welcome to the big leagues. Great performance by Frampton. He was under pressure throughout but landed a great right in the 9th to stop Matrinez

Great test for Frampton. Great finish. Martinez took it to him.

Yup. Good shot to finish the job but he has plenty of flaws. Didn't like the way he pulls back with his hands down and chin in the air after engaging.

Yeah he should learn to keep his hands up like Amir Khan if he wants to make it to the next level

To be fair, Khan was actually keeping his hands up after exchanging when he first started with Roach, then he just kinda...forgot to do it

Kal Yafai will fucking destroy Frampton in a few years, I'm sure of it. Barry should keep Carl away from that kid.

The list of great fighters who always keep their hands up after exchanging would be allot shorter than the list who didn't. The best defensive fighter/p4p fighter in the sport doesn't....

Yes I know, but it's not like he has the defensive skills to compensate for not doing it. He was getting caught a fair bit in there. He showed good whiskers admittedly, and Martinez can bang a bit, but he still has a lot to work on.

Sig bet. Yafai dominates that kid if they ever fight. I'm sure of it.

I tell you what, you can take my sig for a week if it even gets to the point where the fight comes about. Frampton is headed to the top 10 - Yafai will get clowned off some Belerusian dishwasher before he gets to that level.

Slice, the guy is pig shit. He can't do a fucking thing except hold his hands up a throw a leaping jab from range.

    We'll see.

He looks comfortable mixing shots on the inside, no leap amateur about him. As I said, I'm confident he's going to have more to offer than Frampton in a few years
