    He didn't rematch Mosley for THREE YEARS, and didn't do so when it would've been one of the most anticipated fights in the sport...instead, he vacated the division and didn't fight him against until he'd Mosley had lost two fights in a row and looked sub-par against Marquez.

    There was a real current of opinion that Mosley was far past it going into rematch.

    Vargas had beaten Wright several years earlier, but he was also subsequently KO'd by Trinidad and looked like he still had after-affects against Rivera and Flores.

    Wright wasn't a very marketable fighter...but nobody's claiming Cotto-Williams is a huge money-maker.
