i THINK Al Pacino was awful in that movie. He acted horrible, his accent was terrible. The movie was terrible. There is just nothing good to write. One of the worst blockbusters ever except for The Temple of Doom which has to be the worst blockbuster ever made.

It must have been great fun for the actors. In Goodfellas, the actor that played Billy Bats was beaten to death by Pesci and then in Casino that same actor is the main guy that beats Pesci to death! Always thought that was funny. Now they're even.

I prefer Goodfellas, by a significant amount. Might be because it came out first, I also like Ray Liotta narrating and the soundtrack in Goodfellas better. Both movies are very excellent tho, imo.

I never quite look at the Casino desert scene the same after that Sesame Street bit.

I can't compare Casino with Goodfellas. Both are brilliant in their own ways. Character-wise, Goodfellas had the most memorable ones. Casino had a deeper story, delved deeper into their characters. You guys are right, pesci did practically the same role as in Goodfellas. I think Deniro was better in Casino. His character had more dimensions. I'd just re-watch both of them on any given day.

    I'll tell you what's bad...

When an "African American" actor tries to do a Jamaican accent. Now THAT'S bad.

Problem is: to most White men...every West indian accent sounds Jamaican.

Dude did a reasonable job..better than "Cool Runnings" or "How Stellar got her groove back" but it's still far from jamaican. It's more JaFAKEan. It's kinda a guyanese/Jamaican hybrid.
