I just got back from taking my son to the Sixers-Mavs game, I totally forgot this fight was tonight. Lemme go watch Chumpez get put into retirement .
Damn son, the Nets and Knicks are so much ass cheeks that you drove 90 miles south for some real basketball
Philly's actually a closer drive for me than NYC. Nowhere remotely close to 90 miles . I get to Philly in 45 mins.
This is not Callum Smith. He's Mundo. It's his brother, Liam aka Beefy. None of the Smiths bar Callum cam punch. They are all jumped up pantry boys, who never knew their place.
What a disgrace that fight was. I hope somebody does a gif of old man Chavez shaking his head like that.
The thing is the fight was going OK.....,but Chumpez Jr started complaining as early as the first round. It got worse until he finally quit cos his nose was busted and he was cut. It was a decent contest, bigger stronger slower guy against faster but slightly vulenerable smaller man. Chavez got off very good punches. Then he just quit. Then the Mexican Diplomatic Corps in the audience went mad.......bad scene.
Probably, yeah. Callum Smith might have just gotten lucky to face a faded George Groves who had a bum shoulder.
At least Smith will give it a right good go. He'll have to be in a bad place to quit after 6. Fucking cannot get over what that cunt did last night. He was having a GOOD FIGHT too. Ok the round ended badly but he had success, and was backing his man up when he had moved his hands. I guess he's just soft. Glad Jacobs had the JoM Magic and knew how to take advantage of a critically underhydrated oopponent. That old French Wizardry, I tells you.
I don't think it'd be a guaranteed victory for Jacobs. I'd make him the favorite, but it's a winnable fight Smith - he can punch, and Jacobs doesn't have the best chin. It's more winnable for Smith than Canelo would be. I probably wouldn't root for either one... both (Smith and Jacobs) are arrogant little divas.
Considering he's one and done at 175, I think Benavidez is our best hope for beating him up in the future. If Canelo were to beat Benavidez, it would have to be now, cause he won't beat him in a few years.
What i would like to know is how after his "performance" against Canelo did anybody buy into this shit? He was already exposed.
Rank ethno-nationalism. I saw Mikey Garcia there with his brother. Andrew Golota had at least two major fuck ups under his belt and the Poles still came out for the Grant fight. Then, forewared, they had the temerity to boo once the inevitable happened...fucking idiots.
