I've seen too many fights of all of them to write Chavez off because of a fight in which he claims he was sick and he fought as if he was sick.

I wouldn't bet the house, but 20 bucks or so straight up? Definitely.

Was he sick when he fought the italian guy too? Because he didn't look much better there.

The thing with chav jr is, with over 30 fights under his belt, I thought he would be a lot better than he is now. He doesn't look much better than when he'd only had 5 fights.

This is true. I think there is a lot going on here though:

    1) The kid is young and he has not been in a program like the olympics. So the thing is he is living his life as a kid and still growing up and training as a fighter.

Did it occur to anyone that maybe he is the way he is because of these other issues? Maybe nobody wants to push him hard yet. And why the fuck should they? To satisfy the idiots like Hanzy? I mean really, who says it is written in stone that a kid this age has to be pushed into a gruelling fight regime?

    2) The kid is showcased at times.... And Chavez deserves that respect. His old man was the shit and so his kid gets a little more attention.... Why the fuck not? Chavez gave to boxing let his kid have a chance.

    3) Its true the kid is floundering. But the hate he inspires is unsettling. He is by all acounts a mild mannered 20 something year old who has some skills and like most kids is a bit inconsistant. You would think that people are giving him the key to the city the way people complain. He is not a talentless bum he is a young fighter who is not being pushed on right now.

I wouldn't bother if the kid fought on free TV. I mean, he's fighting bums on ppv, and he's not exciting at all.

Come on H.... lets look at the undercard for Margarito Cotto for example.... Its not like Chavez is a major drop in quality compared to what you usually get.

I mean the lawn jockeys that make my wife look like a heavyweight, she tips the scales at 110 Btw, is Chavez really such a drop in quality compared? The truth is that the promoters usually have shitty undercards and Chavez is not an abomination in this regard.

Also: Junior does a special service to tatto artists all across america as he drops the tomatoe cans he faces, they lie there and expose their tatoos for all to see! If not junior who will beat up the rednecks rom the midwest who are painted toe to chin?
