Chris would kill Glen Johnson, break him and retire him.
That was the first guy we discussed the day after Johnson beat Montell.
Glen walks straight in and straight out, and he is not a hard puncher.
Chris would shift over to both sides and break him up bad with wicked hooks underneath before taking him out uptop.
Glen is an old fighter with many miles and many hard fights behind him, and no way could he maintain the pace that Chris would set, no way.
Henry in terms of style is very similar to Hurricane Carter, and we will be having videos of him soon here.
Chris would LOVE to get that fight with Johnson!

You're just crazy about him because he gives you the time of day, Karl. Come on! You seem to love any boxer who'll grant you an interview. Hell you were even hyping Lou Savarese. It's no surprise why you adore so many guys who haven't done squat in the ring.

If Jake said "so-so" things about the guy, that means he's a bum.

Jake's a good guy and generally doesn't like to hurt anyone's feelings.

I haven't seen the guy so I can't say whether he's a bum or not but I do know Jake.

Since Chris would love the fight with JOhnson, perhaps he should seek it out instead of having guys such as yourself defame the name of champions to hype a guy no one has seen or heard about.

I find it hypocritical for you to talk crap about guys who are champions and former champions when you so easily blow a gasket when someone has anything remotely negative about Juan Diaz.

I agree with this part, though I didn't quite think it was a shutout. But Rayco didn't seem terribly interested in engaging Henry. Quite ironic, considering his management spammed the hell out of promoters, managers and writers for MONTHS attempting to secure a decent payday for their guy. But yeah, there was no way in hell that fight should've been scored a split decision.

I'm respectfully ignoring anything you have to say about Chad Dawson, in regards to your boy  ... I understand your angle, but Chris does need to step it up considerably before everyone should regard him as the future of the division.

A good fight for him at this point, honestly, would be someone like Berry Butler, who's not a major threat but is solid enough and also won't stink out the joint

Just as I said...Jake's a good guy. Let me translate...

TRANSLATION: Henry didn't win every round against a bum. Henry needs to step up his level of bums to further disprove himself as a bum.

If you ignore him, how do you know if he's talking about boxing? :dunno:

Funny thing is, my post WAS about boxing.:dunno: I'm thinking Karl doesn't want to hear or see anything other than ass-kissing towards his boy, Henry.

Good move on Chads' management to take this kid first and not Chris who is number 3 now by the WBC.
If Chad gets by this kid, he is getting wiped out by Chris and Chris can beat the other kid as well.
Chad will most likely opt for an easier time than Henry if he is fortunate enough to pull this next one off.

It's not a choice. Dawson was required to fight Dianocu. Chris Henry? Maybe someday he will be good enough to actually get on TV.

I agree that Chad will get cleaned out at 175 as he backs straight up with his hands down at his side and chin exposed straight up in the air like an ostrich.
The only thing bad about Chad is his bad lack of technique and bad lack of a jab.

Yep, most talented fighter in the division by quite a big margin. :bears: I love his offensive skills as well, he has every punch in the book. Hits the body real well to.

    REALLY serious problems.

What do you think is more likely Rabid? Electric shock treatment or repeated gang rape?

Dawson already has a better resume than your boyfriend Baby Fat Diaz. Adamek is a better fighter than Fruitass, and Harding is better than the rest of the no-hopers Diaz has faced besides that.

Give him electric shocks because he'll probably enjoy the gang rape.

you forgot Cotto though, he might be as good as Harding.

i think Diaz was under-rated at one point, but now i think he's becoming a tad bit over-rated.

he still hasn't beaten anyone all that good, although a lot of people did pick Fruitass to beat him.

    but Irwin? Lorcy? crap.

for his own sake, he'd better hope the fight with Julio doesn't fall through - otherwise his claim to the title will slowly errode imo.

I didnt pick Fruitass over him. Fruitass is washed up, and his heart hasnt been in boxing for the last 2 years. It was easy to pick Diaz over him.

I dont think Julio is beating him. Julio Diaz is a career loser.

Juan Diaz is the best lightweight in the world right now by default. Casa is old, and Castillo & Corrales are gone. If those 3 fighters were in thier prime today, Baby Fat would NOT be the top dog!

He probably gets his ass kicked on a daily basis out there in the real world, so in turn, he created this online baddass who puts fellow posters on ignore everytime someone owns him (which is relatively an easy thing to accomplish).

Jake. Remember you and I went to CT to see Dawson against Gardner. Damn long time ago. I had a lot of hope for this kid but Johnson beat the crap out of him. How did you score it?

    Abraham softened Gardner up. :stir:

Btw, will you bet on your boy, Stinger? The odds are great @+330 for the future undisputed champ.
