So did Dawson's. But he won, and so did Dawson. I haven't seen any punishment in ranking for either guy at the moment. Rather than sink Diaconu I prefer to up Henry to top 10 at #10 with Diaconu at #8.

    Calzaghe
    Johnson
    Dawson
    Erdei
    Diaconu
    Jones
    Woods
    Tarver
and the guy fightnews has at #7

all easily rated higher than Henry. :tease:

Woods does not belong on that list. What did he win, like 2 seconds against Tarver? Geez. Erdei is a tomato can

Both guys are far more deserving of a top 10 ranking than Chris Henry. Are you serious?

    Look at the guys record:

    http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=291302&cat=boxer

His best win is against who? Rafael Pedro at heavyweight? Keep in mind that Pedro has lost his only fight since Henry, and had lost two of three going in.

His last win before Diaconu, Derrick James, is a four, six and eight round fighter. That's honestly the last guy he fought before a title eliminator?

The only somewhat recognizable name on the guys record is Ettienne Whitaker... the same Ettienne Whitaker who had lost five in a row, and seven of eight. Six by KO. Henry went eight rounds with the guy, which ties him with Galen Brown as the guy who let Whitaker go the longest over a 14 fight losing streak since 2004.

Maybe it's the close decision over Rayco Saunders, who has lost his only fight since Henry... and had gone 1-4-1 going in to the Henry fight.

I didn't want to have to do this, but get this Chris Henry BS outta here.

No, wait! It was the Max Heyman win last year that earned him the top spot. How did I miss that?

Henry is clearly the preeminent light heavy and he proved it by disposing of diacanu. I will ignore that imbecilic decision, as should anyone with pugilistic knowledge and integrity.

The E.T. Whittaker Fight is when REED made his Mind Up about Henry...REED was N Attendance that Night...

E.T. DROPPED Henry w/a Counter N that Fight...Chris was More SUPRISED than Hurt, but the Knockdown was LEGIT...

& the Fight was Fairly Even (or Henry was SLIGHTLY Ahead) when E.T. Quit on his Stool...It wasn't like Whittaker was in Dire Straights, he just Decided to Quit...& NOBODY N Attendance Could Understand WHY he Quit...

Including Karl, REED is Cool w/a Couple Guys that Know Chris Henry & he's Always GLADLY Accomodated REED's Photo Requests, but there was NEVER a Chance of him Beating Dawson...REED Said as Much on the Fightbeat Radio Show...E.T. Whittaker would NEVER Drop an ELITE Fighter:nono: ...

Chris is VERY STRONG, Aggressive, Hits Hard & has a RELIABLE (if Not Concrete) Chin...But there's NATHAN about him that Says "World Champion"...

REED Hopes he's WRONG about his Fellow Texan, but he DOUBTS it...

Which WBC move is worse at light heavy? Both Chris Byrd and Chris Henry are in their top 10. Neither has ever defeated a top light heavy, ever.

I saw some great sparring between him and Chris a few weeks ago at Savannah's, REED.
Based on what I saw between them, I was confident about Chris' chances with Adrian as Marcus is something very special indeed.
Marcus is a super middle, I thought, but it's basically the same thing.
He is headlining here May 1st at the Arena theater, and if I can get off work, I'll be there as he is sensational.
I know a scribe that thinks Marcus is the best fighter in all of Houston.

He's a Floater...Marcus was 178 as an Ammy...REED Saw him Fight for the Texas Lightheavy Title, a Couple Years Ago (vs. "Gentleman" James Johnson)...

U're a LUCKY Man, Karl...REED would've KILLED to See Henry & Marcus Spar...

You are an ignorant little Canadian punk that's never stepped into the ring. You won't event tell me your name, you just hide behind the keyboard. Why don't you meet me at Savannah's Gym. I'll snap your back and make your liver quiver. But I know you don't have the gutts to do it.

    Signed,

    Karl..I mean Cupey
