He spoke with Sulamain a few days ago Jake, Jose told him he was in line to face the winner of Dawson-Hopkins 2, but I told him not to lay around waiting and to keep busy. I'll try to get to the gym soon and take some photos.

 

Good to hear, Karl. I can see why he wouldn't want to stay on the shelf, but taking an over-the-weight bout or two as a tuneup would keep him in the mix for the winner of Hopkins-Dawson 2, wouldn't it---or would taking an over-the-weight keep-busy bout possibly negatively affect his ranking?

I know he wants to make money, but if he's slated to face the winner, that sounds hard to turn down.

How much did you earn while teaching, Buddy? I honestly thought teaching, as Canadian Business magazine mentioned, was lucrative. At least based on this month's edition of Canadian Business which I subscribe to. Not sure if you read it but it has a section up about well paying jobs. Teachers are in the 70k range.
What else was really surprising or even shocking was that Librarians are in demand and also make in the upper 60K or more.:dunno:

Teaching was crap. I just did it to make money while finishing university. Plus, it's good to have on the resumé when you're building it. For me it was an in-between job kind of like when SD was looking after that special needs person so he could shack up with the guy. :dunno:

Obviously you and steve_dave are laying the groundwork to chicken out of the bout---less than 24 hours since starting instigating it. Maybe SD will show, but you wouldn't even show up to meet me and her the day after that Eagles concert in Toronto back in 2008.
