I doubt a floyd fight could pack wembley stadium.

Floyd-Khan at Wembley would be massive, without question

The point is that people pay to watch predictable fights. I think Froch V Ward would struggle to sell out Wembley, it would never happened. Ward is #1 but the gen pop have no clue who andre ward is.

However as slice mentioned PBF could very well sell out Wembley V Khan

Dudes would pay to see Floyd in the flesh, hell if that fight took place in London I would more than likely make the trip over

Floyd couldnt sell out like that here. Hell, there were many empty seats at the Guerrero fight. But i guess that was my initial point. Im shocked people will pay so much over there for a predictable fight.

If ward fights Froch in the UK, it will be quieter than anything Ward does here. They wont be singing no damn christmas songs, thats for sure.

They'd pay to see Floyd. I bet if Floyd took some fights out of Vegas to Detroit or Houston or Boston he could move 40-50k

Well there is a sucker born every minute. Only way i would pay to see Floyd is if he was fighting a quality opponent. Shit there were people walking out of the Guerrero fight.

Exactly - imagine the feeling one gets scoring the winner in Celtic Park or the Nou Camp. Sportsmen performing in front in massive sell out crowds. That is the ultimate

Yeah but you guys are cool with your fighters not challenging themselves and just staying home and fighting nobodies. We here are kind of sick of that shit from our guys.

are you trolling ? That is complete rubbish. An up and coming fighter will have the support of his home town however if that guy does not prove himself on the world stage he is not selling out the o2. Carl Froch being the perfect example.

Have you ever seen PBF fight in the flesh? If no, would you not like to see him before he retires?

Hatton and Calzaghe could have never left the UK and continued to sell out massive stadiums. Karl Froch sounds like he wants no part of Ward and im sure the UK fans are just fine with that.

I have not seen him yet. If he fights someone worthy, i will try and get some tickets. But im not really crazy about it. I dont feel mayweather's legacy will be as great 15 years down the line. I rather see a Marquez or pac fight. I would have rather seen a Lennox Lewis fight. I have seen Tito fight and that means more to me than mayweather.

Old guy at the bar: 'Yeah I was a huge boxing fan growing up in Detroit. I remember back when he was champ Sugar Ray Robinson came back for a home town fight at the ball park down the road.....but I thought the guy he was fighting wasn't very good so I stayed at home and watched TV'.

That post is just all wrong.

Hatton was the best 140 lbs fighter on the planet of course he was going to sell out arenas. He was also a very likeable man, however before the Tszyu he was not selling out huge arenas.

Calzaghe only began in sell out stadiums around 06/07 around that time his popularity was at an all time high.

Froch has been saying for months that he wants to avenge both losses and for the record up until very recently he was not selling out the hay barn. Froch worked damn hard to build his fan base.

Yup as a sports fan I want to experience that first hand. Same goes for football / ice hockey etc. Watching on TV is not enough.

I've gone to watch Burns hit pads a couple of times, I'd probably pay to watch Floyd train

Yeah, usually you start to sell out stadiums when your popularity is high. But that doesnt change what i said. They would sell out stadiums if they never left the UK.

And Froch in the interview did not seem like he wanted to fight ward again.
