conrad was the bigger and more accomplished collegiate wrestler, but cormier took it to another level after college (where he lost to cael sanderson in the finals) twice making the olympic team. his striking more dynamic and he made the best out of the opportunity he was given in replacing overeem during the tourney. conrad has zero noteworthy wins imo.
And Cormier is actually the more experienced and improved fighter now. Beating Monson, Bigfoot and Barnett in succession is a decent accomplishment for a guy with less than 3 years experience. On top of that, Cormier has grown in leaps and bounds with his striking. The dude looks like a natural boxer now. Meanwhile, Konrad has been inactive. He hasn't shown much development in his game. And he's faced horrible competition. So, yeah, like Z said, Cormier easily.
