I guess you don't really understand. I made the point of saying tito is leaning in. In that pic he's probably only 4 inches taller, bear in mind the top half an inch of his head is cut off.

If he stood up straight without leaning in to cotto, he'd be about 6 inches taller.

As a European I have seen it first hand, the increase in boxing interest over the last few years. It had a really dry spell in England after the Eubank Benn era, now it's starting to be shown on terrrestrial TV for free, English fans seem to be taking an interest in non English fighters, etc, there's been boxing reality shows on TV.

Even friends of mine, partly through the media and partly through my enthusiasm, have become boxing fans where they had no interest before.

 

We'll see the height differential when they're standing toe to toe during ref's instructions.

Maybe someone can clear up boxers heights, maybe Jake who has met a fair few boxers. I wonder how accurate they are.

I've only met a few. Michael Watson seemed about an inch taller than me, so I think his height was legit. Chris Eubank looks around 6 foot compared to his 5'10 listing, but to be honest the guy is so egotistical I think he spikes his shoes.

I am friends with his brother Pete, who is a legit 5'6, which I think is what he was listed at.

On camera and standing next to other people etc, Oscar looks a legit 5'10 but some people seem to think he is shorter.

 

If that's the case, shouldn't they already be here? I mean am I supposed to think Taylor, Diaz, Hatton, and Lacy are some of our next batches of great fighters. I hate to be the prince of negativity right now, but unless you're trying to tell me we're going to skip this generation and move right into the one after it, I just don't see it.
