Hex looks at sports the same way most of us did between the ages of seven and 13 or so. You also have to keep in mind that for whatever reason, through all his years of watching boxing, he still doesn't understand how fights play out.

Holy shit, this guy just burst into flames.

Good call on the suspension SD. Posting spoilers really gets on my plums.

I guess I did get a little carried away. Must have been all the beers I had during the fight

I don't know and don't care if he did it on purpose. Means nothing for me i watched the Martinez fight live. Nothing was spoilt for me.

Am I good or am I good! :bears: I said this around the start of the 10th or so.

No one else called it....too busy e-crucifying poor Panchy for an honest mistake....

Honest mistake or not, Panchy didn't have to be a cunt after he spoiled the fight.

Sly you're not that fucking stupid, I know you're not.

You must be blindly sticking up for your fellow Christian.

The guy did it on purpose, because he's done the EXACT same thing before. Posted the result of a fight for no reason in the other card's thread.

He did it for no other reason than to be a spiteful little shit and ruin people's enjoyment.

I have cable. The Martinez fight was all nice and recorded, waiting for me to enjoy it like it was live.

    Yeah,

I did burst into flames last night ;)

Right now, its tax season, I am working 80+ hours a week, and all i was looking forward to was watching these two cards.

So, yep I did overreact a bit, lol.

Yeah, last time I thought it was prickish but kind of gave him the benefit of the doubt. He's now done the EXACT same thing, so it's obviously on purpose.

Sounds like rainmaker in TAAA. Gets banned for race baiting by posting a video game killing a certain race. Three months later, the moderators all change, he posts the exact same quote with the exact same link, obviously testing the waters with the new mods. Sadly the new mods at that time really FUCKED UP that whole scenario. And a guy who was intent on creating a controversey got his wish.

This I didn't know. I posted a spoiler once purely by accident...the night Gina Carano got her ass whupped...forget which fight it ran opposite. Felt bad at the time but it was an honest mistake/bonehead move on my part.
    I wasn't aware he's done this before.

Now knowing his history, then yes...fuck him.

There was no overreaction on your part. You were absolutely correct

Dude, don't sweat it. I was in the same boat. I was recording the HBO fights and the Bellator MMA card and was looking forward to watching them both without any clue who the winners were. Honestly nights like last night are probably my favorite reason they invented TIVO...:giggle:

But then you would be denied the opportunity of remembering it as a great fight as you did not watch it live.:atu::atu:

I have to say, this is the worst round-by-round thread ever. There's little to no round-by-round commentary of the fight and to echo Godfather's sentiments, if you went by what little was offered, you'd swear that Cotto scored a bailout knockout or something.

Oddly enough, panchy's spoiler was probably the most informative post of the evening.

    THats so true.

You know i dont know why Illum didnt do RBR. It really is a tradition for him to do it. Maybe Illum can shed some light on it. If not, someone is going to have to step up and it will probably be one of the admins.

Well, here's a thought that would actually produce home page content:

Start two threads - one exclusively for round-by round, where nothing posts except the actual R-by-R content. Another thread for fight discussion and only fight discussion with all other sidebars removed (would require heavy moderation).

The R-by-R content could be copied and pasted directly onto the home page as a live blog of sorts. Even if it's the only thing that posts on the home page, it's at least a reason to get people to visit.

While FB remains in a transition period, you can at least develop a rep as being the site for live instant fight coverage until the site gets its makeover and is ready to run for real.

No disrespect to the owners, because i like them alot, but if they dont put effort into this site, than i just cant do it. Buddy, Noble, TKO, Punk are all great guys, but they are just too busy to run this board the way it needs to be run. They could never do the type of grind required to get breaking news. Being on the phone with Promoters, finding information, etc. Its out there, but they have busy lives and i know funds are limited. I Suggest they sell the site to an interested buyer, and i know there some out there.
