    Cotto could still beat Margarito.

But I don't think he would beat the elite guys.

I would personally love to see Cotto-Margarito II. Both guys are about equal past their primes. Let's see how it goes with a level playing field.

I know it's not a popular opinion but Paunchy did have a valid point. Not really sure why anybody watched that shitty PPV over a legit Martinez-Dzinzirik fight. I had the PPV on a stream and the HBO on tv and one card was good and one card was awful. Best part of the Showtime PPV was Tysons interview where he destroyed the whole promotion with his 1 minute interview.

I think Margarito would beat Cotto again but agree with trp that both are clearly not the same as in 08.

Its not surprising you think he had a valid point. You got the brains of a bag of rocks.

Something that is not being mentioned about this fight is how Cotto took Mayorga's punches. He took a few flush shots and never came close to going down.

Seriously if you didn't recognise that was a shitty PPV then i feel sorry for you. Any real hardcore boxing fan could see that. Which you are clearly not.

the ppv was $50, is that a small fortune or something? i watched the ppv and tivo'd the HBO then watched the HBO. i do wish there would have been a better additional undercard on ppv tho.

I have no problem paying for a legit PPV. Tonights was one of the worst cards I can remember, if you pay for garbage then you will continue to get garbage.

Some people didnt pay for it. They watched it on Stream. Which needed to be watched live. You can clearly see in this thread people are looking for a stream of the fight, so obviously there is interest. And people found them and watched it. Another thing that should be clear from the traffic this thread was getting. Obviously common sense is lost on you.

    Its clearly lost on you.

Ill break it down simply for you again.

Good free card > Shitty $50 PPV

    That was pancy's legit point.

However I don't think he should have done have spoiled the outcome of the fight.

You are as dumb as dogshit.

    :shit:

People were making an effort to watch BOTH cards and doing it in a logical way would be to watch the stream live on computer and record the one that is on television. One card being better than the other doesn't change that.

seriously, you don't see how idiotic his comments are? This motherfucker read the majority of the board tear Panchy a new asshole, and after that, decided to jump in and agree with Panchy. :NotThink:
Even if he agreed with Panchy, the sheer volume of people ripping Panchy's ass, should have led him to realize he might be wrong in his thinking. Dont you think?

Miggy would beat Wolak EXTREMELY bad.

Wolak has a better chance against the Ginger.

Agreed, and I think it was a good move to suspend Panchy. Whether he did it on purpose or not (and I think he did) the fact was he seemed totally unapologetic about the whole thing. Had I done that and seen everyone's reaction I would have given a sincere heartfelt apology even overlooking the insults coming my way since I obviously fucked up. Didn't get that from him so he deserved his suspension.

At the same time when we have conflicting fights on the same night like that we need to give a reminder to not mention spoilers of other fights. That way when it happens we have no excuses to not ban the mofo who breaks the rule.

I've been saying forever that Mayorga is one of the most overrated punchers in history, right up there with Kermit "the frog" Cintron.

Yeah, that's my bad. I really thought we were at a point where a reminder wasn't necessary.
