Cotto-Mosley possibly November 10th; Mayweather-Hatton December 1st

if you're gonna debate, at least argue the merits of what i wrote, not what i said about some other match-up. and besides, i never said shit about the mayorga fight - stop making shit up.

and, "he won't land shit on the superior mayweather," is not an argument. it's an opinion for which you've given no basis.

the point i'm making is that Margarito "will" land on PBF. why? because he'll be throwing so many punches, and with unpredictable punch selection. that and the fact that like i said, he can and will punch without setting his feet (the reason people like you call him sloppy when in fact he's just effective).

PBF may have stolen a decision from ODH, who obliged him all too much with his missing jab and only momentary pressure, but PBF will miss a step one of these days. soon enough he'll either fight the wrong guy by mistake, or be forced to do so somehow. and by that point, you'll probably be off spreading a new myth of invincibility - this idea you have that some fighters, any fighters, are somehow vastly superior to the rest. it's all B.S. it's politics, HBO, Management and P4P crap.

I realize than Shane is way past it. If he was in his prime, then Cotto would recieve the Antonio Diaz treatment. But even now, I think Shane has enough left to pull out a close decision. Cotto will have the higher workrate, but Shane will land the more telling blows, and stun Cotto throughout. Cotto cant hurt Shane AT ALL! But Mosley definitely can hurt Cotto, perhaps even stop him. But I like Shane by decision, I'm not certain of it though, just a feeling. If Shane was prime, then I'd be 150% certain that he'd wipe his ass with Cotto.

As for Mayweather-Hatton, Ricky will get throughly and completely outboxed and countered to death. Mayweather on cuts!

Great news. I think Mosley wins this. I don't think Cotto has the style to beat Mosley. At 147, Cotto is a come forward pressure fighter. The kind of fighter that Mosley has eaten throughout his entire career. I see Mosley stinging Cotto with straight right hands the entire fight. Also Mosley is lot stronger, tougher and more physical than Judah, Quintana and Urkal. I just don't see Cotto's pressure being as effective as it was on those guys especially considering the fact that Mosley is so much more experienced and ring savvy than they are.

Contrary to popular belief, I'm a Shane Mosley fan! :eeeek:

I just didn't like it back in the day when peeps were saying, erroneously, that he was a better and more complete fighter than a Roy Jones or Floyd Mayweather.

I lean towards Shane in this matchup because he's tougher than Cotto is, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it play out like Louis-Walcott 2, with Cotto being Louis.

 

Exactly. I very much doubt that Castillo would win three rounds from Mayweather now.

 

I also think she was the reason he turned down Oscars 13mil offer as well. She's actually a strong woman and would be a great wife to have behind you. How the fuck do you know that? Also yes, I think in his prime Mosley beats Cotto worse than he did Rivera. This has nothing to do with Cotto's ability but he just didn't have the speed, height or style for Shane. Coming forward against a young Sugar Shane, being slower with only average to good power and no height or reach advantages? It would have been suicide and Cotto might have even got the David Reid treatment as in beaten into ruination.
