    Fair Enough...

Both Sides Also Seem to Be Talking FAVORABLY about Revisiting Doing Pac-Mayweather in November or So...Bob Arum's Already Trying to COUNTER the Backlash he Received for his Role in Nixing the May 5th Opportunity, by Suggesting the 2 Sides Get Together NOW, to Make November Feasible...

Even though as well all know, Cotto is bigger, stronger, just as fast and an extreme lion...

    Floyd's skills are too great

Seriously.. You know what is suprising? Floyd in the Shane fight.. Floyd actually looked the stronger of the two down the stretch

An extreme lion  Love ya LOK

I'm a Cotto fan but I think it's an easy fight for Floyd. Of course, I hope i'm wrong. It would be a great great story if Cotto won. One of the most impressive "rise from the death" story ever. Does anyone remembers a similar comeback in the history of boxing?

A comeback? From what? Hasn't Cotto been here all along? Was he in a car accident I don't know about?

2 crushing and violent defeats after which people were calling for his retirement.

Everybody wrote off Cotto after the Pac fight. If he were to defeat Mayweather after stopping Margarito, he'd would have proven many people wrong. To put his career back on track like that wouldn't be unlike a grewt comeback IMO.

The thing is Cotto, through the development of his career, took fights with increased levels of difficulties and adversity, never claiming he was the substitute for Trinidad. There was a quiet confidence, respect for opponents. His fights were sold based on his talent and potential level.

The Margarito fight changed everything. The question is can a FIGHTER of his caliber comeback from a terrible beating from a baseball BAT? Mentally I think he can as he has shown so far. In the back of his mind, he knows he lost his undefeated record to someone who broke the RULES to do it, and to the greatest FIGHTER of this generation, Pacquaio.

We know what we have in Cotto. A very talented FIGHTER, humble, with both feet on the ground, improving his English, and who may be in a position to do some special things in boxing. It will not be against Floyd, but his time of appreciation will come....

I wonder if Double has been using the same chair for the last 10 years or so. All soaked full of period blood I bet.

Interestingly Cotto was in negotiations for a Pac rematch but Pac wanted the fight at 147.

Doub's STUBBORN Enough to Use the Same Chair in that Time Frame...Unlike Most, Doub Can Appreciated the "Subtle Science" the Chair Exhibits, in Soaking Up More than Decade's Worth of Period Blood...

Of course he did, he is fucking tiny. It's not like he's the same size as Cotto or Mayweather. Do you have eyes?

Sure he did, having weighed 146 for the fight just before the Pac fight. I'm sure a guy weighing a pound under the limit is having trouble making weight.

Is this a serious post? A pound under does NOT indicate a fighter didn't have trouble making weight.

Yeah, coming in a pound under doesn't mean it wasn't hell getting down there.

Yeah, it could mean he simply went too far with his last minute sweat.

How does it not? Guys don't lose an extra pound just for the hell of it if they are having weight issues.

If you really, really can't make the weight, the weight simply doesn't come off, which is when fighters come in over.

Weird thing is, Cotto has never looked big to me. IMO he looked normal at 140, he's always looked like a smallish welter to me, like Floyd basically.

Cotto has looked smaller than almost every welter he's fought.

Maybe he's just not as good at cutting weight as some people, or moved up to 154 so he didn't have to cut much at all.

Let me put it this way though, did Cotto look drained in the weigh in Vs Clottey or Pacquiao?

Cotto is not a young lion like Ortiz, but ortiz still got LAID OUT so maybe a young lion is not as strong as a mature and wise older but re-invigorated lion

Cotto is more mature now.. been knocked down, been beat up a little bit.. he's BAD!... just last week he murdered a rock!

the more mature lion has more experience and is tougher.. tougher skin
