The fact is, has there ever been 2 boxing superstars with literally IDENTICAL PPV sales, of course not, there's always going to be some variation, however small.

It's just not realistic, as you said if you were nitpicking over 1% differentials in PPV sales, 50/50 splits simply wouldn't happen, ever.

It seems like now, since 2011, their drawing power and PPV sales are near identical.

Like Hut said, they share 2 common opponents that they've both fought at opposite timescales recently, and it's Pacquiao that has the bigger differential in his 3rd fight with Marquez.

It seems impossible really, that Manny hasn't realised he's one of only 2 superstars in boxing, and plenty big enough to not need to be paying Arum 30%. Or you'd think someone close to him would have advised him. Either have no promoter or negotiate a lower fee.
