Wow. I would love to see that fight for the historical aspect of it (nobody could deny that Mayeather had faced a lightweight, welterweight, and middleweight champion in his time) but I'd hate to see the result; I'd probably snooze on the fight itself as well. Considering how much credit Taylor got against Hopkins and Wright, and the backlash about how Mayweather Jr. fought DLH, well then get ready to see some commentator/journalist/judge/fan bloodbath after a fight like this goes twelve rounds
Floyd enters the ring at 150. Taylor enters the ring at 180. To cite Don King, "If I put 30 pounds on Street Sense, it'd be cruelty to animals."
Yet YOU'RE the Idiot Incessantly NUTHUGGING 1 Euro SCRUB After Another... How "Smart" R YOU???... REED:dunno:
REED NEVER "Nuthugged" Spinks.. REED just had a HUNCH that he'd BEAT Taylor...Have YOU Ever Been WRONG about a Fight???:dunno: ... REED ps. LOVELY Sig...It's NICE to Know that YOU have REED on the Brain:clap: ....
Alsong as Fraud's allowed to run the way he does, and exploit the rules with various offences twisting his back during the most critical defensive times so it's impossible for his opponent to hit him in the head or body, which Americans mask as "shoulder rolling" well, he could just about run the clock out against anyone from heavyweight downwards, and if trapped in the corner, well, he can turn his head and back and duck and then sprint away like a squid once again,..all Fraud needs is one quick little knick to the stomache of his opponent per round, and his groupies will embrace it like he's the greatest ever, this is what boxing has come to,...this apparently makes him the greatest of all time, and not just an eye searing, slippery little chicken-shit who should be disqualified. If Mosely kept his career padded and undefeated, or if Roy Jones was still at his blazing best, Fraud wouldn't have a career, as it is, he just became 'peoples champ' by default.. .
Taylor is probably too big for Floyd and works well behind his long jab, but i certainly wouldn't count out Mayweather. However if Jermain couldn't KO Spinks or Ouma, i fail to see how he'd KO Floyd who's harder to hit and seemingly has a superior chin.
You were so certain that he'd win that you started a huge topic about how people would have to kiss your ass after the fight. I figure that since you were too chickenshit for a sig bet, I'd wear this one for 30 days.
"Guilty" for WHAT???:dunno: RubyHOE & the REST of REED's Fans R STILL Vying for his Attention... Make your INEVITABLE "Comeback" & Eventually REED'll Resume Verbally WHIPPING your Ass... REED
Resume? It has never happened. Now that we are friends, I would like to give you some advice. Whomever said you were a gifted smacktalker was a very poor liar. I realize it will take some time after the abuse I have given you over the years and for that I apologize. It was childish. I will not return to smacktalking even with Phonetap. I have matured. He is safe to return as well.
:: Ah,O.K... So U FOLLOWED REED from Thread to Thread for YEARS,just for your HEALTH???... REED was ALL UP IN YOU like a Tampon... "Friends"???:dunno: .... As Erykah Badu would Say,"See U Next Lifetime",Homey... REED
After the shitty performances of Taylor of late,...why would anyone dismiss Mayweather's chances against him? Taylor is a big middleweight with a decent jab, but that's about it. He isn't that fast, he isn't that powerful, and he has no killer instinct at all. I ould venture to say that Oscar is faster, more powerful and definitely fights with more passion than Taylor and he only won four rounds at most IMO. Taylor has the physical tools, but his mindset lacks something and I don't think the guy has alot of confidence in his own chin. Floyd does everything that Spinks does much better, hits harder, throws better combos and is just as hard to nail cleanly. Mayweather wins another lopsided decision against Taylor.
I wanted to say that we'd be lucky if Jermaine threw 10 punches a round vs. Mayweather but thinking again Mayweather tends to stay in the pocket much longer then Spinks and likes to use the ropes. Jermain will throw more punches against Mayweather then he did against Spinks but he's going to be made to look pretty stupid in the process. Unless somebody teaches him how to bully Mayweather and he doesn't freeze up it could be a long night for him.
I have no doubt that Floyd would beat Taylor. Taylor cannot deal with speed at all. It would be easier than the Oscar fight. You know, I really wouldn't be surprised to see Oscar challenge Taylor after than pathetic showing.
I hate the guy, but i'm not blind. I know skills when I see 'em. Taylor isn't stopping anyone. Wasn't he supposed to stop Ouma and chinny ass Spinks? He couldn't even hurt those guys. Taylor has ZERO power.
He had enough power to keep Bernard honest and that's no mean feat. Spinks isn't THAT chinny..and he's very hard to hit...certainly with more than one punch at a time. Oscar's a different fight.
Spinks got KO'd by a 140 pounder. For anyone fighting at 160, that is chinny. Zab would have no power at 160. Oscar would make it a good fight, he's got a way better chin than Spinks and no way Taylor KO's anyone with a good chin with his shitty workrate.
Taylor DOES NOT KO Oscar. Beat him via ugly decision victory??.. At this point in De La Hoya's career, probably. Taylor has not been able to stop the often dropped, Ouma and Spinks, two fighters fighting out of their natural weight classes who took flush shots from Taylor. No way he stops Oscar.
I really don't think Taylor stops anyone. I think he's just not a big puncher at all. He's to the point in his career where he's not going to be facing any cans. He can't KO anyone with any skill.
