    This isn't Buddy McGirt moving up to fight Roy Jones Jr. This is a p4p #1 type welterweight with no body fat moving up to fight a shortish middleweight who wasn't particularly fast. If some dumbfuck like Duran can do okay, of course Pacquiao would have a have a chance against Hagler.

    I like how we had to wait a year until Pacquiao had a tough fight before it became such a ridiculous post.

    Duran wasn't some "dumbfuck" when it came to fighting.

    Also the P4P #1 with no body fat is exactly what hurts him. Duran was a bigger guy than Manny who could afford to put on a few extra pounds.

    A chance against Hagler, to win? No.

    I think his combination of footspeed, stamina and heart allow him to last a while but there's no chance Pac beats Marvin.

    Pacquiao is better than Duran was, more accomplished, and greater. And he hasn't quit like a bitch multiple times or lost to lesser fighters while in his prime.

    And Duran showed that even he had a chance against Hagler by being able to win rounds and do okay.
