Surprised Blue Blood has the IQ to facilitate anything.

That MF always comes across as special needs to me.

Him and that kid Akhi. They both sound like literal mental retards.

REED Actually Sat Next to Blue in the Media Section During Spence-Mikey, So He'll Be NICE...Decent Dude from What REED Gathered, but Definitely SURPRISED to Learn He's THIS Involved on the Financial End of a Deal w/a Pound for Pound Level Fighter...Make That Money Though, Bruh!!!...

That Said, Blue's NOT the "Boxing Fan" He's Portrayed Himself to Be...A "Boxing Fan" Doesn't Help DETOUR a Fight Like Spence-Crawford, PeriodT!!!...

New Boxing Ventures NEVER Work, They Just DON'T...

Triller Tried, Jay-Z Tried, Fiddy Tried, Mills Lane Tried...Even Mayweather Promotions Would FAIL Miserably if Not for the Wind Beneath Their Wings, aka., PBC...

For Bud to BYPASS Full Unification w/Spence, to Rock w/What He HOPES/PRAYS Is a Sound/Legitimate Boxing Entity, is Risky AF!!!...Sure, Bud Will Win the Fight But Will the MONEY Be Right When it's All Said and Done???...

Will Spence/PBC Have the Least Bit of Interest in a New Negotiation w/Bud, Post-Avenesyan, Considering He's ALREADY Negotiated in BAD FAITH, Devoid of Any Semblance of Integrity???...

Omg you made me laugh. I though it was just me. But Aki and Blue blood do sound like they're a little slow or got some kind of speech impediment. You hit the nail on the head. Did'nt know BB was involved in promoting fights he always seemed like a fanboy more than anything.. I'm definitely in the wrong business lol.

Sadly, Most YOUNGER Fans, Like 35yo or Younger, Absorb the BULK of their Boxing Content via YouTube or Other Streaming Services...

Going from Boxing Mags to Boxing Websites was QUITE an Adjustment for REED, But Even Websites These Days HAVE to Have a Video/Streaming Avenue to Occupy the Attention Span of a Younger Fan Base...

Think About It; Jake Paul BLEW UP as a YouTuber, Now He's a Legitimate EARNER in the Sport of Boxing...

REED Can't Say He Watches YouTube Videos Daily or Even WEEKLY, for That Matter...& He POSTS His Own Content Even LESS Than That, Unfortunately...But He'd Safely Guess 95% of Current Boxing Fans, MINIMUM, Utilize YouTube in Some Regard...Whether it Be Opinion Related Podcasts, Interviews, Old Fight Footage, etc...

Not really. Once every now and again. I know who they are, and I've occasionally watched content from each, but I don't regularly.

I don't really watch boxing YouTubers period. Only old fights.

There goes my prediction of a double knockout in the first round.

They knock each other unconscious just seconds into the fight.

Bro I watch a lot of them even the ones I hate like EGO and Dontaesboxing. Its irritating but for some reason I keep watching lol.

There's some good ones like the Teddy Atlas one, the Mike Tyson podcast and a few others little channels I like that I wont name. Way too many. Reed is cool but needs to have some girls with big ass and titts dancing in his intro.

I just discovered the Blue blood guy watched a few of his video the Paulie Malignaggi vs Haney thing…Crawford v Spence. Does he always give a tale of tape for every boxer he talks about? Spence 5’11” …65 reach 35-0-0 with 34 kos, reigning wbc, wba, wbo, etc…if the video is 12 minutes he spend 4 on stats. He’s a little better at hiding the race baiting…while Aki the African dream and ego boxing are full throttle with white motherfucker, New media, Mexican ducking strong black man, Tank is god mode…

Yes, Blue Does That EVERYfuckingVIDEO:duck:..."Unduhfeated, Supuhstah Boxuh...." - Blue Blood....Serves His Purpose and OBVIOUSLY Parlayed That Into Something BIGGER, But it's a STRANGE/RISKY Move on Crawford's Behalf, Nonetheless...

Competitively, REED Watches ALL of the Top YouTube Boxing Dogs, Occasionally...The Overriding Theme is MOST Boxing Podcasters Take Themselves Waaaaaaaaaaay Tooooooooo SERIOUSLY, Which is Why REED's a Fan of Showbizz the Adult and Emazing Eric More Than the Others...They Present FLUID Content; Might Be SERIOUS This Video, FUNNY the Next Video, Providing a BREAKDOWN the Next...

    Going w/the Flow...

Some mismatches make sense for both boxing and financial reasons. I don't think Garcia deserved to be treated like a stepping stone but i don't quite understand it if that was the agenda. Why would Spence beating Garcia "catapult" him anywhere? Mikey is/was very well respected but not exactly a PPV attraction or household name. He was also a much smaller guy. Who actually picked Mikey to win that fight outside of his mom? The only surprise was that it lasted the distance. I could be wrong but i doubt that foregone conclusion of a matchup dramatically increased Errol's "stock". On the boxing side of things are Spence fans using that win over Garcia as proof of his greatness?

    What business are you in?

The YouTube guys aren't independent, rather they are available at a given moment for the right price to flog out an opinion orva narrative at the behest of anybody prepared to kick coin their way.

The more followers and "clout" they got, the more likely they are to be targeted for this kind of thing.

And the more clout they have, the more likely they are to be seen as independent, paradoxically whilst they pump a message out for somebody else.

It's not necessarily fake news or lies, but they're being fed information and being used all the same.

Same reason Floyd had the Gatti fight. Same reason Chavez had the Oscar rematch. Same reason Wlad had the Byrd fight..same reason Hate had the Harrison farce. Etc.

Those are good examples of ones that made sense/cents and what i was referring to in my previous post. I don't quite see the Spence-Garcia matchup being equivalent.

and how is garcia a victim here? just a weird take from crawford that in my mind confirms it is he and not spence who prevented their matchup.

Garcia was the victim in the sense he was "fed" to Spence. It was a mismatch. It seems to be well known that Mikey's heart was never really into boxing. Perhaps he even confided to Haymon he was wanted to retire soon. Therefore the logical thing from a business perspective was to try to get him the biggest possibly payday before he bows out.

If that's what happened it makes some sense, but doesn't make it all "OK". Garcia was undefeated and had other opportunities for good money fights. Also ones that were winnable. Taking on Spence wasn't some Mayweather/De La Hoya sweepstakes you don't turn down.

The point is it seems everything was done with the focus on what was best for Errol. Garcia was just a variable in an equation.

Garcia is an odd case. Guys heart is not in boxing.....simple as. His family are dafties too. Made daft decisions, fought daft fights, daft styles, had a really confrontational inflated sense of themselves, and it showed with their associations with Vargas etc.

So if you're looking for rationality Vis a Vis Mikey Garcia, forget it.

He probably thought he could beat Spence.
