The main problem with boxing is its most active fighter is William Norwood Jr.

Cara Del Boxeo Davis, AfiiDevin Haneus Corpus, Beterbiev, vErgil Ortiz have a combined zero fights this year.

 

The main problem with boxing is that the demographics that boxed and attended boxing shows have been in stark decline since 1980 if not earlier.

Dana White can't fix that.

 

One of the problem with boxing is that it starts late and we have to put up with shitty undercards....it's a BOREFEST...

If the MAINcard/ppv is to start at 8pm....the Main Event should start at 9-9:30, just one undercard match...

You can't bring new fans into the sport if they can't stay up until 12am for the main event to start.....

Ever had people over the house because they wanted to watch the BIG FIGHT.....end up leaving before the fight start because they are tired and the undercards were SHIT...

It's like having the AFC/NFC championship loser play each other at 3PM...to then start the Superbowl at 6PM.....Uhh bad example I would like that.....

 

I don't know enough about it but I often wonder what impact the amateur ranks have on the state of professional boxing. It's clear the amateur "establishment" has influence in the pros. Is it safe to assume that influence is a positive one for fans? I doubt it.

 

Yeah, highly irritating. Only way i'm staying up that late is if it's an A++ main event. Other than that i'll avoid the forums/news and download the fight. the next day.
