Now we see why canelo ducked him. Would love to see Benavidez vs. Bivol.

Inoue has beat a buncha midget bums, benavidez is better for sure

Great performance by Benavidez. He’s definitely more than capable of beating Canelo at this stage of their careers. Canelo knows it and wants nothing to do with him.

    Bring on Benavidez vs Opeteia

Nah Inoue is better. Benavidez beat a guy who was slower and not as good of a boxer as Nakatani.

Benavidez has a been a favorite over Canelo for several years now. At this stage it would be a mismatch. Canelo wouldn't have a snowball's chance in Hell of winning.

Benavidez is a beast, and I admit that he's better than I was giving him credit for. HOWEVER, at the time same, I never ever rated Zurdo. Guy is a fraud and always has been. Bena did what he needed to do though.

Benavidez making us Arizonans proud. There hasn’t been a great fighter from AZ since Michael Carbajal.

Completely disagree. While Nakatani was "undefeated" (he lost to

Benavidez is 200 pounds and hes probably faster than inoue at 122 (whos quite fast himself).

Thats a pretty good indication that hes a greater talent.

And that obliteration was much more impressive than carefully outpointing Nakatani.

But anyway, im not too invested in p4p ranking, but lets just agree that Benavidez clearly deserves a spot in the top 3

When the fight began to get away from inoue, he broke nakatanis face with an uppercut in rd 11

    Confirmed

Nakatani beat Hernandez in a close fight but it wasn’t a robbery at all. Zurdo also looked like crap one fight earlier against Dorticos.

Benavidez is certainly very talented and explosive. Fast hands for someone his size. Wouldn’t say he’s a greater talent. Inoue clearly the better technician and gifted athlete. Benavidez did look impressive and won in exciting fashion but Zurdo isn’t as good as Nakatani and is far slower. Carefully outpointing Nakatani in a huge legacy fight should not be a knock on Inoue’s win. I do see Benavidez in the P4P list, perhaps just below Inoue, Usyk, Shakur, and Bivol.
