When the eighties skill masters got fat they usuallygot schooled by a true heavy. Haye is able in so far as the competition is what it is. Does Tam and do youreally believe that Hayes predisposition willmake him pay dearly against the likes of Sam the fat Nigerian and Mccline? I don't think so. Lets just face the fucking facts Ike.. we want to see if Haye can nail a Klit to the wall with his punch... its a black and white issue a yes or no answer... Haye isn't goining to beat a Klit on points! He eithr will catch or get caught. Its exciting as any other prospective fight... thats a fact.

Here is the error in your logic: usually when champion gives an opportunity to the best of lower division, the champ is not criticized and as you pointed out, there are plenty of examples. However usually the smaller guy is ot the most deserving challenger out there and he is in no position to demand the first opportunity. If he gets his chance, good for him, but if he truly wants to earn the right for craptalk, then he has to prove he is worth it. I truly like Haye and I think a fight between him and either Klitschko would be cool. But the most deserving challenger he is not
Who outside of Rahman´s family would criticize Wladimir for fighting Haye instead? NOBODY. Outside of Povetkin (and Dimitrenko for different reasons :crafty: ) nobody without a belt deserves a title shot at heavyweight.
Difference between Pac and Diaz - 5lb. Difference between Cruiser and Vitally - 50lb. That answers the question.
You didn't read my post I guess. Nobody usually criticizes when the champ of a lower weight gets a chance and nobody would complain now. HOWEVER that is a different thing than calling Haye the most deserving challenger, which he is not
Ok. 2nd most deserving anyway. Might sound ridiculous, but these heavyweight talents are just sitting around hoping that the Klitschkos just go away. IF the IBF truly went through their rankings to find the next available challenger for Wladimir on Dec. 13th, they must have offered the fight to Dimitrenko and Arreola first. So they turned it down, because one is a pussy and the other is Chavez Heavyweight Jr. to Arum and too fat to get in fight shape in six weeks. So THE ONLY credible challenger, who hasn´t had a title fight offered is really Povetkin.
I quite like Haye too, but I see things in a similar way to you. He can punch a bit, but somehow I don't find him particularly exciting. He has a typical heavyweight style, it's not like he's prime Tyson esque, zipping around, unloading rapid fire, hard combinations. And it's not like he has the craft of a Holyfield for example. And I am being realistic, he is not going to be the next big heavyweight. I have stated in the past that Povs is slightly undersized these days, Haye is even more so. He didn't look like a solid heavyweight last night, he seemed undersized, even against Barrett. He didn't look strong and solid enough to stand a chance in hell against a big heavyweight. I would pick Povetkin to destroy him actually.
