Admittedly a horrible showing by Price, but it's not like he got Sandered either.

That's my stock response to the nuggets proclaiming Price as the next big thing, too. In his pro career to date I've learned nothing of Price that I didn't already know from his ammy days; he's a very big guy, has a decent jab, decent footwork and he has genuine power in either hand. Like I said, I knew all that from his ammy days.

What I don't know yet is if he has learned how to deal with someone who also has decent movement and who is southpaw, as Camarelle was, because he demolished Price in that Olympic bout, and I do mean demolished- David was completely befuddled by the sidewards movement of the Italian and he got wiped out. I also have no idea if that stoppage was just one of those things that happen at HW or if it is indicative of a poor chin, because he hasn't been in with a pro who has been capable of putting much hurt on him yet.

The jury is still out then, IMO; the guy has obvious strengths but I want to see him in with guys who will test him before we know much more.

I just saw this fight for the first time, pretty standard am stoppage. He was hurt pretty bad. What I found most telling is how he reacted to taking a clean shot. He's a freezer. The few clean shot he got hit with just froze him in his tracks.

It's a big, cheap supermarket with a range of poverty stricken, economy food called "Asda Price"

Absolutely, spot on. I have been impressed because he's one of a tiny number of fighters who actually has real chilling power, at any weight. I am all too aware of his other technical limitations. That said, we have never seen him wobbled like Khan, for example.

Frank Maloney: "When Gerry Cooney stepped up for the title he was exposed. My man {Price} won't be exposed".

Yes Frank, because he's likely to be fighting Tommy The Tongan Mystery Man for the title.

In the meantime, that exercise in diaphoretic obesity, Mick Hennessy, says Fury will fight a Klitschko next year.
