David Tua. Get ready to get knocked out

I don't mind this fight IF....Wlad fights a unification bout afterwards.

Tua should have a gameplan of 5 rounds. Train for it. Come out blazin,if he doesn't stop him in 5 he doesn't have a chance anyway.

 

I was given Tua the benefit of the doubt, suggesting that he goes in survival mode, and between that and his stellar chin, he manages to last the full twelve.

 

Tua hasn't been blasted HARD in years now, and he's reached his mid 30s. I think his chin may have gone softer and could get stopped if Wlad comes at him with the kind of aggression he did against Brewster and Brock.

 

If Wlad fights smart, and just bludgeons Tua gradually from a safety first distance, he stops Tua within the distance from accumulation of one-sided punishment. Either the ref or Tua's corner would stop the fight in that case.

The worse thing Wlad could do is play hero and go for an early spectacular KO, because that is the ONLY opportunity that Tua has to pull the upset.

 

Wlad would get hurt if Tua landed that left hook flush on Wlad's jaw.

this is how I see it as well. Tua has only one gameplan balls-out for 3-5 rounds and hope Wlad wants to trade.
