He trained with ninjas. Stick, the guy who trained Daredevil, was a ninja master as far as I remember. He used to kick Daredevil's ass when he was training him. This is back in the early 80s. Then Stick apparently got killed.

I think the costume will be fine. This is just a picture of him. He isnt in the costume. It looks like he is just training.

Calm down, pal. That costume is actually ACCURATE with comicbook canon. You see, in the revised Daredevil origin story this was actually his very first costume, just like Peter Parker had an initial dumb looking costume.

What I really think that they will skip is the other first costume, the yellow and black crimson one.

More Marvel rumors are buzzing that not only the female superhero Ms Marvel will be part of phase 3 of MCU, but that she might end up having a cameo in Avengers Age of Ultron. If true, instead of hiring an older actress (like some critics/writers are clamoring for Rosamund Pike, 35), I think it will be better to go with a younger actress so she can continue doing the role for many years wihthout the need of CGI to airbrush wrinkles. My choices are these three natural blondes:

Amber Heard age 28, Ashley Benson age 24 or Margot Robbie, age 24.

Of course there is NO WAY Marvel will recreate this outfit for a movie, so expect some leather jacket over a pvc catsuit.

[h=1]Marvel Studios reveals Phase Three slate, including two-part 'Avengers' threequel[/h]

By Anthony Breznican on Oct 28, 2014 at 2:02PM [IMG] @breznican

Marvel Studios spends most of its time clamping down on secrets, so when they open up the vault, it’s usually something big.
Usually that happens at San Diego Comic-Con before an audience of 6,000-plus screaming fans, and everything is planned out months in advance. But on Tuesday morning at the El Capitan theater in Hollywood, Marvel put on a relatively impromptu show, gathering press and fans alike to reveal …
Well, no one is quite sure.
Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange? (That leaked yesterday.) Full plans for Phase 3 after next May’s sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron? (Possibly.)
GET EW ON YOUR TABLET: Subscribe today and get instant access!
Among those sitting in the very front row of the theater are Anthony and Joe Russo, the directors of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, who are also overseeing the third Cap film. The brothers were also at Comic-Con last July and hoped to make an announcement about their film there, but held back at the last moment because some details weren’t finalized. Robert Downey Jr. has been in talks to co-star in Cap 3, bringing the clash between Iron Man and the do-gooder patriotic hero to the fore in a cinematic version of the Civil War comics storyline.
Smart money says we’ll be hearing more about that shortly.
Avengers writer-director and Marvel brain-trust member Joss Whedon was in the second row behind the Brothers Russo, who are turned around in their seats talking with him and Marvel Studios co-president Louis D’Esposito. Whedon wouldn’t be here if the event didn’t involve the broader Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The show’s about to begin. EW will live-blog and update at the conclusion:
    More to come …
11:11 – Make a wish. The program begins, and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige takes the stage. “I’m going to show you something you’ve already seen, thanks to the good people of H.Y.D.R.A. … The teaser for Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
11:14 – Feige points out Whedon in the audience. “He’s working very hard in the cutting room helping us finalize Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 2.”
Mentions Guardians of the Galaxy‘s success. “You like new things. You like things that are fresh.”
“When we have information to reveal, we want to reveal it. Sometimes that’s in a press release. Sometimes it’s at San Diego Comic-Con, and sometimes it’s on a random Tuesday at the El Capitan theater.” Huge roar from the fans.
Feige says he’s going to reveal Marvel’s Phase 3 — which leads to a bigger roar.
11:16 a.m. -- The subtitle for Captain America 3 will apparently be Serpent Society. (Some disappointed faces in the crowd, hoping for Civil War.)
11:18 — Feige says he wants to show us something we don’t know. November 4, 2016: Doctor Strange — “I feel like I’ve been talking about Doctor Strange since the day I was born,” he says. “The idea of this film is to open up a whole new corner of the cinematic universe.” Promises visuals no Marvel movie has shown before.
11:10 – James Gunn, director of Guardians of the Galaxy, appears in a video from Japan to say the sequel will be released on a new date: May 5, 2017, moving it up slightly from the previously announced date.
11:22 – “The return of one of the most popular avengers,” Feige says, showing the title: Thor: Ragnarok. “It’s a very important word, which means essentially the end of all things.” Expect it July 28, 2017, with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston returning as Loki.
11:24 – A new character. “Here he is …” Feige says, presenting a title for … Black Panther. We have already started seeding this in the previous films. One of the rings I already showed you today is an Easter Egg leading into Black Panther. It’s about how this isolationist country of Wakanda meets the world,” Feige says. It’ll hit theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
11:26 – The first superhero film from Marvel Studios to star a woman: Captain Marvel. “This hero’s name is Carol Danvers.” It’s date will be July , 2018
11:27 – Another cosmic journey. Inhumans. “It seemed time to open the floodgates a little bit wider,” Feige says. Look for it Nov. 2, 2018.
11:30 — The third installment of Avengers will be split into two parts: Infinity War: Part I, due May 4, 2018, with the second part, and Avengers: Infinity War: Part II, coming out a year later on May 3, 2019.
11:33 – Feige says he’s having second thoughts about that subtitle for Captain America 3. A new title card appears, giving the fans what they want: Civil War. Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans walk out from opposite sides of the stage and raise their fists when they meet in the center.

Man it's awesome that Marvel and DC are bringing out the best of each other. Nothing like a good dose of competition to motivate these studios into producing some awesome films.

So far Marvel has been beating DC to the count on every aspect: started their cinematic universe first with individual origins films; assembled all characters in one epic mega hit film that was loved by critics & fans alike; their phase 2 films are out grossing their first films; their phase 3 films were announced in El Capitan theatre to a media and fan friendly crowd with the attendance of its two biggest stars, Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans, introducing new Marvel actor, Chadwick Boseman; the new movies announced comfirmed Marvel listens to its fans (Black Panther, Ms Marvel, Inhumans). Marvel hasn't had a critical or financial flop yet, btw.

On the other hand DC is starting late in this race (those Nolan Dark Knight films don't count as they were self-contained and not part of a DC cinematic universe). Their first offering, Green Lantern, was a critical & box office flop...now they are trying to make us forget this film was made; their second film, Man of Steel, was a hit, but had mixed reviews; DC is trying to play catch-up with Marvel by tossing most of their Justice League characters in their next film, the moronic titled Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice; instead of getting fans excited, they received almost universal backlash when Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot were cast as Batfleck and Waif Woman; it was WB suits, not DC president, that announced their plans for upcoming films at an investor's conference nonetheless! No media-fan friendly venue, no stars, not cool logos...all these people care about is about making a profit and can't tell the difference between Green Lantern, Green Hornet and Green Giant beans.

I will not mind if 36 year old Malin Ackerman is cast as Captain Marvel. She was good as Silk Spectre in Watchmen, so she can play costumed superheroine characters.

I don't understand why Man Of Steel had mixed reviews. It was awesome.

For how long will Fox keep the X-men and Spiderman rights?

Fox doesn't own the rights for Spiderman: Sony Pictures does. Fox has the X-Men & Fantastic Four rights until they stop making movies for a period of years when the rights will revert back to Marvel, but they are not going to do that and will milk those franchises until they start bombing miserably. FF ALMOST reverted back to Marvel, but two months before it happened Fox announced the reboot production. Too bad since by the casting alone apparently that film will suck balls (a black Johnny Storm aka Human Torch??? a wimpy looking Ben Grimm?? a youthful Reed Richards??? I'll give Kate Mara a pass since she is a good actress and can't be worst than Jessica Alba, but Fox announced they'll 'modernize' the uniforms...expect typical black leather jackets, etc.).

This is your new Reed Richards

If all they care about is profit they should let Michael Bay direct.

The name tossing for Captain Marvel has started. While it was rumored that Marvel approached Jessica Chastain, apparently it was for another role and she declined due to conflicting schedules. I personally don't like Chastain in that role since she will be 40 years old by the time the movie is made. And then there is one actress who is campaigning for the role aggressively: Vikings Katheryn Winnick...with a little help from her fans.

Margot Robbie has been cast as Harley Quinn in DC's Suicide Squad film. And now I am interested in watching that film. Margot Robbie is perfect for the role which, if written well for the screen, could be a real treat to watch. Is being rumored that Jared Leto has been offered the role of the Joker.

and in other not so great news...

Latino Review reported that Sony, in its desperate, ridiculous quest to catch in (ca$h in) with Marvel Cinematic Universe, is seriously considering a film about, gasp!!!, Aunt May as a former Secret Agent!!!! These people just lost their freaking minds. They only care about milking their franchise as much as they can not caring if they insult the intelligence of audiences or break the comicbooks canon. I just hope all their films bomb so bad that they have no choice but to sell the Spiderman rights back to Marvel.

Unfortunately both Galactus & the Submariner are attached to the Fox Fantastic Four film rights. If we ever see the Submariner it will be an aberration like the 'cloud Galactus' that Fox delivered to us a few years ago. I personally prefer that it doesn't get made if it isn't in Marvel Studios hands.

Come on, Marvel! Cast Alice Eve as Captain Marvel or give her a role in ANYTHING but give her a wardrobe along these lines...
