Second Chance

I have always been a firm beleiver that if a man does the time for his crime, he deserves another chance.
Diego took what was coming to him, and made the most out of his second opportunity as a citizen and athlete, and enjoyed his greatest ring success.
I think he belongs in the IBHOF as he was the most exciting fighter of his day, along with Arturo Gatti.

 

He can think it if he wants to, there's no law on 'thinking'. Just don't spread it around at the wrong time and in the wrong thread. Otherwise consequences must be paid.:crafty:

 

Yes Rubio is a good troll, no doubt. But Corrales was a pure warrior, born with the spirit of a warrior, and would fight his heart out in the ring. One of the most courageous fighters ever.

He deserves some respect, and to rest in piece. Not small time little fucks like Zac Handscum taking petty digs at him and being glad he's dead. By all accounts he was a good guy that made a mistake or 2, and at least show the respect for the great warrior that Diego was.

He was the purest warrior in the sport, more so than Morales, Pacman, anyone.

 

I liked Diego too MWS but a good troll can't be called a good troll if he doesn't hit where it hurts when given a chance. Dude is a hardcore troll, that's all, and not even a death will slow him down. Trolling in it's purest form.

 

This is certainly sad news.

It's even more unfortunate given the circumstances of how it reportedly happened. It sounds like something that certainly could have been avoided.

The best thing that can happen from a situation like this - or the death of Josh Hancock days earlier - is that other people learn from them.

I think he was 23 because it was right around the time of the Manfredy fight. The guy fucked up, did his time and was fine after that. Yes, I agree good people can do fucked up stuff. Nobody is perfect.

 

you can't defend someone who did what he did. Anyone can get a parking ticket, a speeding ticket. Not anyone can commit arson and not everyone can beat a pregnant woman

I am a bit more open minded than that so yes I can defend it. Was it wrong? Yep, sure was. However women get beat all the time and often times nothing happens to the person who does it. Corrales at least was punished for what he did and never did it again (that is known of). It's not my place or anyone else's to judge him based off 1 thing that happened in his life. The fact that someone does 1 incredibly fucked up thing doesn't make them a bad person for the rest of their life.
