Ugo is a Duran hater who just wanted to take that opportunity to take a pointless and nonsensical shot.

The two situations aren't at all the same.

Duran was a lightweight. That's where he spent his entire prime. He was considered by all to be past his best when he fought Hearns.

Canelo is a super middle who masqueraded at 154-160 for years.

He had already moved up and smashed a faded Kovalev at 175.

Then all of a sudden he moves back up (while still in his prime) and gets smashed by Bivol, then all of a sudden it's: "Ohhhhhhh he's too small."

HE is the one who then stated he'd fight Bivol again. At no point was a Hearns-Duran rematch ever on the table.

Ugo was talking out of his ass. He tried for a "gotcha" moment, but it makes no sense.

OK, let's be honest for a moment here.

It was you who wanted to take a shot at Canelo, when the thread wasn't about him. That's because you have never been able to be objective with him.

You could have said "great performance by Bivol" or even "no need for a rematch with Canelo", but nah, your focus was on the indication that Canelo is a pussy.

My problem isn't Canelo, it is this principle. You mock a guy for challenging himself. Canelo took a risk which he didn't have to take, and lost. He found his limit, but you mock him for not trying again. And somehow succeeding last time (against Kovalev) now counts against him?

Just yesterday you said that Bob Foster's status doesn't suffer because of his losses at heavyweight. He won there too, but when he lost, it was 'ohhhhh he was too small, it doesn't count'. Why doesn't the same rule apply for Canelo? Why isn't it enough to dominate his own division?

It was your hypocrisy I pointed out, it had nothing to do with Duran.

The fight was a clear-cut 10-2 rubbing, and it wasn't very interesting. Lately there have been no talks about a rematch. And why would anyone, including Canelo, want to see it again?

I've given Canelo plenty of credit for testing himself in recent years. But I'm not blind to the fact that a lot of his challenges have been calculated.

So not only were they picking on a shot MW journeyman Rosado and drag him up to in weight but he couldn’t even make weight, let alone 12 pounds over? Zurdo has no shame. SMFH
