Marvel's Sorcerer Supreme Doctor Strange easily remained at the top spot of the domestic box office with $44 million. That brings its domestic total to $153 million in 10 days for a worldwide total of $493 million. That's awesome for the risky film many pundits were predicting was going to be Marvel's first box office fiasco.

In the second spot Trolls repeats with $35 million. The cute creatures animated film has now $94 million accumulated domestically and $222 million worldwide.

Debuting in the third spot is the Amy Adams scifi film Arrival which made good contact with $24 million. The $47 million budget film could end its domestic run close to $100 million if it can stay afloat the following weeks.

Almost Christmas overperformed with $15.5 million. That is great for the $17 million budget comedy as it can stay doing business during the upcoming holiday weeks.

Finally in the fifth spot is Mel Gibson's come back film Hacksaw Ridge which tool $10.7 million for a 10 days domestic total of $32 million.
