    absolutely

and its not rhetorical really. It was fairly known he would have made 2.2 million. He made 1.5 or 1.75 for Williams I think it was 1.5

Wrong Double L, for it is YOU who is the infant, the immature, blind, nuthugging infantile boxing fan.

You fail to see any other side but the nuthugging side, your only side.

Take a page from Brother Eaner's book, for he is far more ensconsed in the Margarito bed of fandom and even he acknowledges that Marge "blew it" in turning down more money to fight Cotto than Margarito.

As I have been saying all along, he was offered the fight, he could have taken it, he didn't.

    "Brilliant move on Arum's part".

You stupid fucking idiot, it's actually a very standard move with almost any promoter - here's the offer, and we have options on you for X amount of fights. It was nothing out of the ordinary, and Margarito wasn't shafted at all, groupie.

If a fight against another elite fighters comes along for Margarito..he will have to give up more than a few years/fights worth of options...

:dunno: Oh?... But fellas,.. what happenned to him "ducking Paul Williams" ?..lest we not forget the copious properghanda bandied around by Goosen in allegience with Fraud-groupies when Margarito - Cotto was all but signed, it in turn gave Margarito some bargaining power against Arum to fall back on, so thanks to his haters for the granture :bears: .

....and oh Illuminati, *hands clutched in prayer* you poor soul, you most of all, lead the "ducking Paul Williams brigade", harder than anybody on Fightbeat,... what does one say when something comes ferociously back to bite them on the arse?..I still think you did the noble thing by pretending you never said it, I'll empathise with that.

Margarito has NO bargaining POWER against any of the ELITE fighters in his division...and there is a couple of them there now...Cotto..Floyd...Mosley...DLH...

Williams vs. Margarito gave hope to the million of sparring partner out there..the hope that some day they can rise up and defeat the CHAMP......Fight after fight..decade after decade...FIGHTERS have been proven that GYM wars/Sparring War mean shit when it happens for REAL in a prize fight...and here comes MARGARITO and shit on all that losing to his sparring partner.

Wlad Klitschko was Kermit Cintron's sparring partner, does that add a little credence to your ridicule, it was harmless fun that never made any sense, but I read it in ya pharamones baby, I know the point you were trying to make, infact I've constructed a little key that can help my instincts out a bit when you don't quite make it, that 'connection', nah mean?.. if Illuminati degrades a Mexican fighter by perpetuating a dogmatic case that he percieves as a widely accepted principle, but it doesn't make any reasonable sense, referr to chapter 2 "Kill wetback" , for a white-fighter see page 1, "Kill whitey". That's all I've got so far but it seems to be workin' a treat. :crafty:

It's not about degrading a mexican fighters.....it's speaking the truth about ANTONIO MARGARITA..the soo called most feared and avoided boxers in the world...but when the opportunity arrives for him to fight an ELITE fighters like MIGUEL COTTO...he backpedal faster than Mayweather vs.DLH.:dunno:

I obviously went a bit overboard with that statement, to counter Double L's blind nutguggery, but otherwise that is the bottom line.

You can't whinge about being ducked, then decline 2.2 million for a big fight against an elite, undefeated opponent. Margarito is the ducker.

    No, no, no!
    He's not!
he fought for 10 years in the best division in the whole of boxing, and the ONLY reason he hasn't fought ANYONE, is because EVERYONE ducked him.
    I rest my case.

margarito wasn't known until he fought antonio diaz. none of those with an exception of mayweather ducked him.

margarito-winky was not realistic since winky had already moved up to 160.

cotto was supposed to fight margarito had margarito beaten williams.

And THIS is finally what this post is about.

It's not about your faith and belief in Margarito. It's your dislike of Cotto and wanting to see someone beat him.

    Antonio Margarito can't beat Cotto.

He is just grasping at straws for someone to beat cotto before Mosley does.

Margarito is too late and too inferior to do that.

U're Soooooooo FULL of Shit, DOUB...U Absolutely REFUSE to Believe that Floyd "Ducked" Margarito Because he KNEW he ALREADY had a DeLa Fight on the Horizon...

& U IGNORE the FACT that Arum ONLY Offered Floyd 8 mil to Fight Margarito AFTER Floyd's Contract had Expired...

If U're Gonna HONESTLY Go to THESE Lengths to JUSTIFY Margarito NOT Facing Cotto, then REED NEVER Wants to Hear YOU Say "Floyd Ducked Margarito" Again...

U CAN'T Have it Both Ways, Dog...

i don't know if PBF "ducked" Margarito or not. What I do know is that he perceived Margarito as a big enough threat that it was too risky a fight for him to take with the ODH fight looming.

That's really my beef with all of the Mgrito haters. They contend that Margarito isn't a threat. That he'd be an easy fight for any elite fighter. "That's" what I object to.

It's one thing to defnd PBF and say he didn't duck Margarito. But it's a different thing all together to pretend that Margarito wasn't a major threat to PBF, and that if they had fought, there'd have been plenty of money on Tony.
