WAR Cupey!!! Kick his ass Seabass!opcorn: it wouldn't suprise me a bit. Judah is a mental midget, I would bet that his IQ score is borderline mental retardation.
Bingo... his only other HBO-related wins came on PPV undercards against inferior opponents (Rivera, Pineda, Rangel, Martell). All of his other wins came on Showtime or ESPN
Yeah, I was thinking they'd show the Rivera fight since it was on HBO, (PPV) where he looked like a killer.
Who are Judahs sparring partners? Dude I'm not jaws, if you 2 got something you could drag this thread into smacktalk and let it out there
I wish you would go ahead and reveal your source. There's people planning on gambling on this fight, so if it's nothing more than hate enduced hyperbole we'd like to know. If your best friend who happens to be Cotto's towelboy told you this, no problem Cup's we'll just ignore it and move on. Just let us know because I can't make my final prediction until this info is verified.
If you made financial decisions based on the faceless word of some internet goon, I have a bridge to sell you.
For all we know this thread could be in the hall of shame next weekend The odds are against it though
Can you post a link to the bridge you're selling? I've been trying to get my hands on one ever since the supreme court rejected my ownership of the Brooklyn Bridge based on the fact that my ownership papers were hand written in ink by I quote, "some guy who doesn't even own it".
Dude, the last person I want to win is that bum Cotto. I can't stand the dude. Hell, he was in the Bronx, about 5 minutes from my house and I didn't go. So, I'll be rooting for Judah, just not betting on him. Cupey
Well that's all fine and dandy Cupey but could you please, just to sate our appetites, tell us where the fuck you got this info and elaborate on it a bit more? I need to post my final predictions.
Carlos: This is going to be a welterweight in Zab going up against a middleweight/ super middleweight in Miguel Cotto. This fight is the poster fight for the return of same day weigh ins in professional boxing. Karl
Boxing has already had two of those fights and they both involved Arturo Gatti. But I think it's crazy to think it will change. The 24 hour cushion gives promoters some time to negotiate a possible solution...no way the people involved want leave a potential replay of the Castillo-Corrales III weigh-in (or Castillo-Corrales II, or Corrales-Casamayor III) for the day of the fight. I still think the most reasonable solution is to keep the weigh-ins the day before the fight, and adding a mandatory second one the day of the fight - with a certain percentage of body weight a fighter is allowed to gain back and with sharp penalties firmly in place for each pound (or fraction of a pound) exceeding the limit.
They are probably using the same scale the used for Gatti and he was 5lbs lighters. I know the deal. Cupey
if zab wins this thread will turn brutal...i doubt it though. zab getting clowned sparring?? maybe in the later rounds but in the first or second rounds of sparring if he's getting his ass kicked it isnt because of shape, it is because he is in there with better guys. but if you are talking to someone in the know, you have a more informed opinion then i do.
dsimon writes: This letter comes from a kindergarden student Cupey. Dear Carlos: I like to eat lunch in my school. I like boxing. After your tip I decided I wanted a bigger lunch so I bet all my lunch money on Cotto. If I lose I will starve to death but I trust your tip! I look foward to twice as many beans and rice. Maria Cupey I hope you are right!!!:nono:
