    Lol

I sense the hate in you ( when Duran's status is challenged in any way ). Give in to your feelings boy, let the hate flow through you.

There seems to be one rule for Duran and another for everyone else. I'm just calling it out because everyone else is either scared to do so or is unaware of the double standard.

Disregard him. It's like arguing with a brick wall. He doesn't even hate Duran. It's ALLLLLL a ploy to defend Floyd. Why else would he bring up OSCAR and MANNY as two guys he picks to beat Duran?

It's all an agenda. There's NOT ONE SINGLE FIGHTER on Floyd's resume who Duran couldn't have beaten.

Whereas Floyd plain and simple would not fare well against early 80s Leonard.

For the record, Duran beats both Pac and Oscar, but Pac has a better chance.

Oscar, with his shit stamina is never beating Duran.

Disregard me? Lex Luthor?! Extinguish the greatest criminal flame of our age?

In all seriousness, I agree that pax has the better chance of beating Duran but Oscar has that jab and size and reach that would give Duran a different set of problems. Who did Duran beat that was as good as either Oscar or pac? Oh yes, Leonard.....making post lightweight Duran a one hit wonder. As I said, buster Douglas beat a prime Tyson does that mean he would have beaten Holmes, Bowe, klitchkos, foreman etc?

Even in Pac's best performances, I still felt he wouldn't has been able to beat those guys.

Pac would have had a torrid time with Ike Quartey... No guarantee he's even beating him, let alone Duran or Benitez.

so in your analogy Duran is buster douglas.... and ray leonard is an untrained, disinterested Tyson who's gone off the rails a few years after a great peak? You realize you've got this analogy ass backwards right? Duran is Tyson and Douglas is Laing.

Ray Leonard was overconfident and fought the wrong fight. If Duran fought ray ten times that's the only fight he would have won. The Douglas analogy is to show that you can't go by one fight. Duran never beat another great fighter above lightweight.

You're out to lunch. In the rematch against an out of shape Duran in a 22 foot ring he was using every milimeter of to run for his life Ray could still only win 4 of 7 rounds. Both men at their best in a regulation ring Duran wins

Floyds bullshit cherry picking bitch career has warped your entire perception of the sport. 'Other fighters in history lost fights when they got older! Pfffft! Inferior bums!'

So, let's get Duran-Leonard straight - in Sly's mind, Leonard wasn't himself in the first fight, yet he probably believes Duran was 100% in the rematch? Interesting if he believes that, because LEONARD doesn't.

What's Leonard said a thousand times? That he wanted to rush the rematch because he KNEW Duran blew up between fights and had trouble dropping the weight.

Duran clearly was listless in the rematch against Leonard. There can't be any denying that.

Styles styles styles. Perhaps, just perhaps Duran always gives Leonard a hard fight. Early 70s Ali was a superior fighter to Norton and would beat guys Norton couldn't but would always have trouble with Norton. Perhaps Duran was Leonard's norton? There's a precedent for that.

My point still remains though that Duran, whether or not he was Leonard's nemesis, didn't prove he could beat other great fighters especially others that had boxing ability and speed.

Sorry but his losses to Laing and Benitez cannot be ignored. Neither can his drubbing at the hands of hearns.

Duran would be undefeated also if he was in unification fights with legends like Carlos Baldomir.

Duran would have lost to Floyd, Oscar, Pacquiao, and probably Canelo at 154lbs.

Duran would have completely schooled that spurt fighting Ginger bitch.

A washed up Cotto took 4 rounds off Crapnelo and none of Ginger's shots did any substantial damage to fragile Mig.

Duran is an overrated greasy hairy Panamanian cunt. I like him though, lol. He's an all time great and very exciting, but y'all act like he was invincible. I don't mind people saying he was unbeatable at lightweight, because he was dominant there, but don't be saying that shit about the welterweight and jnr middleweight versions. Son, just don't ( captain America voice).

What's worse - losing to Kirkland Laing once, or TWICE losing to Jermain Taylor? Hmmm....

    strawman but I'll bite:

Losing to Kirkland Laing once. Clearly.

Hopkins was old and Taylor was young and big and fast and undefeated and many felt Hopkins won both fights. Losing to Laing is a ridiculous embarrassment for anyone called the GOAT.

You realize Laing's nickname coming up was 'the gifted one', right? engage with it or not but reality's messy in sport as in life - sometimes talented guys don't train, sometimes they go totally off the rails or hit the bottle, etc. george best was struggling to get a game for hibs by the time he was 25, tyson shows up with his head up his ass and loses to douglas, douglas wastes most of his career through apathy, benitez burns out by 23, Hopkins peaks late, other guys show up in wildly different condition fight to fight, another guy shows up weight drained to shit. Stop being obtuse

Duran needs to get a stripper pregnant, and have that stripper stolen away by a grown man named Nelly in order for Sly to respect him.

I didn't realize the following fighters had babies with strippers stolen from Nelly:

Ali, Robinson, Hopkins, Leonard, Pacquiao, Jones , Tyson, Louis, Holyfield, Chavez, Marquez , Nunn, Toney
