    You wouldn't buy Pac/Marquez III, Pac/Cotto or Pac/Mosley?

Sorry, this has so many logical flaws I can't break it down.

Manny is the biggest draw in boxing. Nobody and I mean nobody is a bigger draw. If it was not for Manny boxing would be nothing right now.

If they don't put Pac v Mayweather together I won't buy any other fight with them in it. They all know what fight needs to be made, any other fight is a sham.

I want my SRL VS Duran for our generation now.

I don't know what it is..but something about fighting De La Hoya and Hatton back to back...

After DLH/Hatton Mayweather was the biggest draw in boxing..many people were saying it...

Manny and Mayweather are big draws but it take two to tango...put Pac vs. Bradley or Mayweather vs. Baby Veil on PPV and it' won't do 200,000 ppv buys...

Right now they are both 500k to 600k ppv buys without each other. After they fight each other though Manny is the bigger draw even if he loses. I have said Mayweather was the p4p #1 fighter since Roy lost, but I am not as sure about his victory over Pac as I once was.

I say right now I won't buy it because I will be pissed Mayweather isn't fighting Pac, but I have said this before and the day of the fight I got excited and had to buy it. I will still be pissed off though.

It turns out them quotes are actually taken from Arum after the De la Hoya-Pac fight.

This fight probably done less then a million buys for sure.

Less than a million?? HELL NO...Hatton fans in the UK..would at least bring in 600K+another 500-600K from the States....this fight should surpass 1.1 million easily...

Unless Arum said the exact same thing word for word this CNN writer is a total dumass.

Thats a true mythical matchup. The pussy Hamhead woulda never gotten within a million miles of Manny.

Pac woulda literally beat that fraud to death.

Damn. Looks like you're right. I just checked the USA Today website and they mention nothing there about PPV numbers for this Pacquiao-Hatton. Like you said, the CNN writer is a dumbass. He must have got his Google searches crossed up when looking for references.

Hopefuly is a lie from royyjonesjrp4pno1 as that would sit kind of bad with the Pac's enthusiasts and Arum specially who has been quoted as saying that from now on anybody expecting a fight with Manny will recieve the DLH treatment. That is 25-35% of the purse.

hmm...DLH was able to see big numbers no matter who he fought.....i don't know if Pacquaio would so such business if the buying public don't feel his opponent is gonna represent a tough enough challenge. If Arum prices too many guys out, then we might be left with a situation like that.....then we'll see if his numbers hold up

Initial estimates indicate that Pacquiao would earn considerably more than the $12 million guarantee for his brutal second round knockout of Hatton. Arum told us that pay-per-view numbers did “extremely well.”

He estimated that PPV buys in the US alone would be “north of 900,000 and north of a million in Britain ” which would boost Pacquiao’s income. Solar Sports which telecast the fight over its own cable channel and GMA 7 as well as the famed Araneta Coliseum, theaters, school gymnasiums, restaurants, hotels and pubs nationwide reportedly paid Pacquiao $1.2 million for the Philippine rights not to mention the many endorsements the fighter earns from.

So no official numbers are out yet. That's just Arum guessing.

I was watching TFC and Manny from his purse, PPV proceeds, and endorsements could take home almost $20,000,000 from this fight.

$3.3 million for each minute of work.

    Worth remembering that....

    A) The fight didn't feature an American
    B) The ppv's are cheaper in the UK. They cost £15, which i am guessing is about 25 dollars. So roughly half the price.

Boxing IS bigger in England, make no mistake. Where as you lot have been complain about boxing's popularity decreasing, if anything it's been on the up for the last few years in England.
