Frankly, I don't know how they can keep it up. I had a fake e-beef once with Caligula for about 3 hours and was bored with it after about 3 posts. It's one thing busting balls every once in awhile, but dragging the same shit on and on for months and years at a time, takes dedication I just don't have. I like TFK as a poster and generally find his sarcasm very amusing, but I agree that he completely overstepped the mark here.

Just because people here cannot" Reed", let me be clear. What Bama did freezing Reed's accounts was wrong and intolerable. I detest Reed. It is just something that cannot be tolerated especially here. This site is all about talking shit. What's next, I insult a mod and my boss gets an email. My problem with the mods reaction is it is completely one sided and both were equally guilty. Having a guy saying he will sue people, is not something I would tolerate and I would have banned Bama for that too.

Hey, I for one will admit it. Last night, I got a bit irritated that I had to deal with this whole thing while Bammer was being smarmy. Cooler heads prevailed in the end although, for a few minutes, I felt like being a prick.

That's the nature of some people including myself. If someone does something that pisses me off, after awhile my patience wears out and I'm probably going to get irritable and snarky...particularly late at night when I should be in bed sleeping.

I wanted REED unbanned. He was contributing frontpage content and I find him to be quite likeable (and you don't). At the same time, I usually get along quite well with Bammer. I'd like to have both of them back.

However I'm not going to get roped into any legal stuff involving forum members. If someone wants to start threatening lawsuits against forum members or threaten legal action against a site, they can find somewhere else to do that. I didn't keep this place going so that it could be sued by someone who likes to smacktalk but can't handle it coming back.

However, these are obviously 2 valued contributors to this site and we should allow them both to come to a mutual agreement to kiss and make up. Shit got heated at the moment, but as soon as everything cools off they can analyze the situation and apologize for what they did wrong. If people keep getting banned from the site for meaningless fights like this, there will be no more Fightbeat.
