I've never even seen the pics in question so I can't really answer authoratively.
I understand the thrust of your questions though.
-In your mind, you simply did something that gets done by others all the time, & it's not as if you even defaced them or anything.

However, whether a million people do it a day or not has no relevance.
More people speed than ever get caught, and for everyone who gets caught for going 15 miles over the limit their are many who get away with going 30 over the limit.
It doesn't mean that the people who got caught were not speeding.

The thing is REED, the reason that your Photobucket account got canned is because you broke their rules. You broke their rules twice. The first time they let you off by just removing the pics, the second by canning your account.

If Photobucket do have that rule, how do you think that they could ever enforce it other than by a tip off from somebody?
It's not as if Photobucket were picking on you because they have a grudge.

Obviously Bama reported you to piss you off, (and it worked), however strictly speaking, did nothing wrong by doing so.

You may be surprised to know that my personal opinion of Alabama Man is pretty much in line with what the majority of opinion here seems to be, whereas I consider REED (for what it's worth), a valuable poster.

I know that this is a long thread already, but as REED has only just returned, I just thought that I'd speak in plain terms to him directly.

In text on a message Board, the tone may seem confrontational, but the basic content is really no different to what I'd be saying to him in person if we happened to be chatting about it.

Anyway, clearly the subject has more than run it's course.

 

Not taking sides here but the funny thing is that Alabama man and I were arguing on boxingfanatics and he posted a defaced photoshop of me. Rebel took it down and told him it was against the rules to post someone else's pics and Alabama man posted it again. Not only was he breaking that forum's rule repeatedly, he was posting "stolen property" that had also been defaced.

I was thinking that to avoid situations like this in the future, this website should maybe adopt a rule like boxingfantaics has. Don't post anyone else's pics without permission. No matter where they are. Myspace, facebook, wherever the fuck. If the pic is of someone else, don't post it unless you ask them first. (From now on.)
