Which is why he won't go far inside it.

Trying to get a payday vs Tomato Khan , off the strength of his KO1 win over some guy who probably used up the last of his resources running around after Khan.

At one point, one of them burped and the other told him off. Don't know if you caught that clip.

That's the sort of fight they had. It all seemed very contrived -with a view to getting his hands on Khan at some point, lots of $$$.

Conor Benn is a midget. His dad was a small man, not a big MW at all. Worst legs ever, ask anyone.

Conor is even smaller. I reckon he's a blown up 10 stone fighter. That's it.

A legit killer at 147 is going to fuck him up.

He's been at this pro game now 4 years or something and he's calling out Khan? Khan ain't fought in 2 years.

This is the face of a guy who has no real business at the top level:-

Nigel Benn had really bad footwork.

He was pigeon toed and had skinny bandy legs.

His kid has the same shitty legs and will get his arse burst worse than the old man did.

Seriously British ring beefs are quite gay right now- Fury making late night videos on his phone and Englands #1 Welterweight calling out..........Amir Khan.

Makes you wonder where he generated the incredible power from.

Power really is a natural thing.

He put a lot into the shots, had calcified fists, trained his ass off at times.

I'm not sure he was the greatest banger of all times by any stretch.

Barkley was drained, DeWitt wasn't all that brilliant.........stopped the Italian on a cut, couldn't get Watson out of there, sort of just battered McClellan relentlessly, legally and illegally.

Nigel could punch, but it wasn't Jackson power or Ketchel. In a way even Eubank probably had that single bigger punch.

    Benn really poured it on.

I wonder if Stanionis is next for Ennis. Probably not, as I doubt Stanionis' team wanna ruin his career so early, as Ennis would surely slaughter him.

DeWitt had gone the distance with Hearns and had taken all the best shots from big punching Matt Hilton.

So what Benn did to him was impressive.

Not going to lie, I though Benn was impressive in his destruction of Vargas (even though the stoppage was a bit early). He has crazy explosiveness and can put punches together quite well. Does it mean he can fight at the elite level? Of course not but he made me took notice

Oh I will pay attention for sure- but he's getting beat, sooner or later. And it could be highlight reel too.

He could hit, for sure. But I don't have him as an ATG 160 banger.

I mean there are videos of him on youtube with the caption "The MW Tyson?"

    That's plain daft.

I don't consider Benn a Hearns/Jackson class of puncher, no.

Closer to a Mugabi level puncher, which is still impressive.

That gives me an idea of a MM that would be an all out war.

Forget it, Mugabi beats him, the Mugabi that fought Hagler at least.

I think a large large part of what happened between McClellan and Benn was that

    *McClellan took him lightly
    *McClellan wrapped his own hands
*Benn landed a shot right behind McClellans ear at the end of a round he shouldn't have made it out of
*McClellan weighed 166 at the weigh in, not 168.
    *Benn thrived off that atmosphere.

All in all, Benn won and deserved to, but he pulled an inside straight that night. It was the Trump-Clinton of boxing.

And it is that fight- the aftermath thereof-which a lot of Benns reputation as a killer hitter is based on.

He couldn't even drop McCelllan in that fight

Anyways totally off topic by now.

Ennis vs Benn Jr could happen, but Ennis will avoid him. I am sure of that. Benn will be very carefully managed henceforth.

Actually, my idea was a Benn vs Hurricane Carter MM.

Benn vs Mugabi has been done many times before.

Pre-Hagler, I think it's basically 50-50. Either guy could get bombed out, considering that Mugabi was in trouble early with James Green. Gun to my head, I'm thinking Mugabi's better technique and faster delivery would win out - but I wouldn't bet on it either way.

Another good slugest would be Mugabi vs Tony Sibson - I don't think that's ever been done before. Let me post that.

Ennis has nothing to gain from a Connor Benn fight. Benn is pretty irrelevant on world level outside of who his daddy is.

It would be a waste of Ennis' time - he's ready for the big guns at welter.

I think Sibson just had that rare ability to lose the big ones :Jest:

He even lost to Kevin Finnegan.

Disagreed. Ennis is still a nobody and while Benn ain't a household name himself (even in the UK, at least, I don't think so), he's still headlining his own shows and has a bit of a following (true, mainly because of his last name but that's irrelevant). Ennis destroying another fairly known undefeated prospect would make his stock skyrocket; and this is what I think would happen if they ever fought. But Benn probably think so too, no way he accepts this fight.

There's no way Benn accepts the fight. For several reasons, not least of which he doesn't have to, he can make money feasting on snacks in Europe/GB for a while yet.

The TV people over here will tell us that and with some gusto.

Expect to see him very carefully matched moving forward.

He'll probably be on the undercard of Fury vs Joshua.

Oh what a fucking night that is going to be.........and I mean OUTSIDE of the ring.

You'll be able to see just how little class millions of dollars can buy.

Being that I've lost interest in Spence v Crawford, I would now settle for them taking on the young guns.

Meaning that, I would be happy with a Crawford v Taylor matchup in late 2021 or early 2022.

Or I would loooovveeeee if if could have a Spence v Ennis matchup next year.

    Or Spence v Ortiz.

Due to politics, the only one of those matchups that will probably happen is Crawford v Taylor.

    Great video bruh.

I said a few years ago that I thought Ennis would end up better than Fimo, and I believe that fully now.

I think Ennis is the best under 25 fighter in the sport, and that includes Lopez.

I think Boots has his head on straighter than Fimo and is more dedicated to the sport.

    Ennis seems more stable.

What I mean by that, Fimo is more likely to be affected by outside-the-ring drama.

Boots and his family seem like stable, focused people.

Biggest Difference btwn Boots and 'Fimo is their FATHERS...Bozy Ennis ISN'T In It to Stroke his OWN Ego the Way 'Fimo Sr Is...Bozy Plays the Background and Only Gets Camera Time When People ASK HIM Shit...

Bozy Doesn't SEEK the Limelight the Way 'Fimo Sr, Floyd Sr., Robert Guerrero's Ol' Man and "Crazy" Angel Garcia Do/Did...& Instead of Every Other Word Being "My Son, My Son, My Son", Bozy Says "Boots, Boots, Boots"...That's the Difference...

'Fimo Sr. ISN'T Even Jr's REAL Trainer Anymore, Joey Gamache Is...Gamache is just HUMBLE Enough to See the Situation for What it Is and Play the Background Role...

'Fimo BUSTS His Ass Undoubtedly...The Fact he's STILL @ '35 is a Testament to That...

But it's Clear he's JUGGLING a Lot More Shit Than Boots Is...His THIRSTY Ass Ol' Man, the Fact His Mother and Sisters DIDN'T Attend His Wedding, etc...

NONE of it is 'Fimo's Fault, Yet he Has to DEAL w/It...
