The man has clearly stated twice now that he's picking Garcia by mid round stoppage.

Why do you insist on pushing him?

Winner fights the winner of Spence/Brook and the winner of that (which will not be Brook) fights Mayweather in a Welterweight version of Ali-Frazier 1.

lol, at PBF fighting the winner of that tournament. But to be honest, I think Sly is trolling.

    Thurman wins this fight confortably.

I think those picking Thurman might be in for a big surprise. One Time is really not that good. He's very vulnerable against a guy of Garcia's strengths.

Remains to Be Seen WHAT Strengths Garcia has, Against a TRUE Welterweight...

If he BEATS Thurman, Garcia Gets ALL The Credit in the World from REED, but he Just CAN'T See that Happening...

SRL calling Thurman-Garcia in place of Paulie.

I know Ray's gotta be watching Thurman & Garcia, thinking deep down inside "I'd have killed these scrubs in my day."

Yup. Welterweights seemed bigger in Leonard's day too. Hearns was 6'1, Leonard himself was 5'10. These two guys are 5'7 and 5'8 as are most Welters these days.

I would take Oba Carr to beat both Thurman and Garcia... Nevermind going back to the 70s/80s welterweights.

Bramble was better than Maurico fuckin Herrera. I could see him arguably beat Garcia at 140.

Unlike Most @ Fightbeat, REED Typically DOESN'T Subscribe to the "Fighter from Yesteryear AUTOMATICALLY Beats Most Guys of Today" Theory...

But in the Case of Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia and Oba Carr, it's ACCURATE...Carr was MUCH Better Schooled than Either, and Aside from POP, he was the More Naturally TALENTED Fighter...

REED Thinks Garcia and Thurman Fare MUCH Worse Against the Likes of Trinidad, DeLa and Quartey than Carr Did, Who was VERY Competitive Against All 3...

Carr WASN'T a Hall of Fame Level Talent or Anything, but he was a Pretty Good Fighter Who'd Fare a LOT Better Today, than he Did in the 90's...

They used to make some good music to smoke out to.

That aside, I'm hyped for this fight. Too bad I'm working tomorrow night but I'll record it.

    Leonard's in remarkable shape for a 60-year-old.

Too bad we can't say the same for the 44-year-old Golden Disaster.
