    Sturm KO7.

Missed it by a round, but I expect some heavy double points. :wack:

Damn my original second pick was Sturm KO 10 and I amended it. Fiddle sticks.

As I said, in my initital analysis of this ridiculous match up - Ronald isn't even within a million miles of the JCC jr level. Not even the Camacho jr level.

What a crock of shit. Fuck that. I hope that fucking Sturm dies.

Happy Storm.....sounds like a fight in a Gay club.

The scores on the OP are now amended for the Sturm win. Strong start for Godfather, and a storming comeback for REED. Jake & Pagan are out in front for now. Good picks from Illuminati & Bob N Weave, El terrible takes the most points with 15. :bears:

And Im kicking myself for changing my KO 10 pick at the last minute, otherwise I'd be ahead of my arch nemesis Slice N Dice.

If nobody has any objections im just gonna count this since it seems Mex wasn't aware of the Sturm result. The alternative is to give him the average of is other picks at the end of the quarter like Im doing for LL & godfather, which frankly an extra pain in the arse and would effectively end up rewarding him for getting the pick in late, since it'll doubtless end up being higher than 6.

    Mex is now on 21.

Hut is the table updated? I'm shocked Montiel was ko'd so early. Need to see that.

lol Hut, ironically as a Brit I always forget about European fights, I'm just conditioned to stay up till 4/5/6 am for the American broadcasts.

I can't believe Sturm actually KO'd someone. Ronald must really suck.

PS - I also can't believe ILLUMINATI has the same points as me and more points than you ;)

Ronald was brought in for that purpose. All week Spurm had been talking about a stoppage. Spurm normally talks about stoppages the same way Danny DeVito talks about his jump-shot. That is to say, never.

I was just hoping Hearns could uncork a fat one on Spurms face.

would be fantastic if a mod could stickie this thread, unless the plan is to just keep bumping it to the top of the page.

I think the latter is better. Stickies tend to get looked over, IMO.

Plus it's being done quarterly, so I'll start a new thread in mid March for April through June.

Guys, I've added the Judah-Mabuza fight to the upcoming March 5th picks. It's a world title fight and both guys are coming off very big wins, so I figure it's worthy of inclusion. Sorry for missing it before.

I've analysed all 3 fights perfectly (go through the posts, it's all right there!) I just haven't been brave enough in standing by my analysis. That'll change and over the course of the year class will tell.

There can be only one! I'll take special pleasure in taking your head, cider-disparager.:nono:

You know, I agree. For some reason, probably some kind of mental block, I NEVER look at the stickies.

Gotta be brave and go with your gut*gut, hut*hut. Anyway, I wish you well in your battle for 2nd place...
