If I am not mistaken Oscar fought at all those weights....Floyd got a SD against a 35 year old Oscar, what if he was 25...:dunno:
The higher up in weight they go, the better the physically larger Oscar's chances are (I'm talking a younger DLH, not the 2007 version). It's hard to picture Mayweather beating a late 90s De La Hoya at welterweight. Truth be told, I think they would both always have a tough time with each other. Mayweather with DLH's jab, size, and own skillset and Oscar with Mayweather's speed, defense, straight right hand, smarts, etc... Oscar has always had problems with speed (I guess that's kind of a cliche).
Taylor can beat him...and IMHO Benitez can beat him at 140 or 147. Interestingly enough, I don't think Curry beats Mayweather at 147. Peace.
' Taylor would give him hell dont get me wrong, but I think Floyd's superior brains & skill edge out Taylor. And I agree with you that Benitez beats him. Assuming of course Wilfred is at his very best. As for Curry, why do you pick Floyd over him? IMO a prime Curry has almost the PERFECT style to beat Floyd at 147. A prime Curry woulda took out Hatton in under 4 rounds.
